No Support.
First, if more than one account had the same password, who would get it?
Second, if someone guessed someone else's password, they could send an invitation, and then if the second person accidentally clicked “Confirm”, the first person could pretend to be innocent and then ban the two of them.
Third, the only cases I think it could be useful is if someone made five or six alts for some reason. (Believe me, I've seen this.)
Fourth, what are the benefits? It's no hassle to click a few buttons and type something.
Fifth, the ability for someone else to edit your posts=a troll editing your posts back and forth=bad.
Sixth, the ability to delete your profile comments=making a post so the other person can delete it, read it, and post something else, and repeat=high risk of private messaging.

Assuming the passwords are properly hashed, there should be no way to get a user by just a password, so I'm assuming there'll also be an input for the alternate account's username

It should only allow accounts with the same email so that it can help the ST ban a banned user's alternate accounts

Through your Account Settings, you can link your alternate account to your main account, enabling you to edit your secondary account's forum posts, projects, and perform other actions you'd normally be able to do only on your primary account.

In order to link two accounts, you'd need to enter the password of the second account and confirm your password for the account you're currently on. Once that's done, you have to then confirm linking the accounts by logging on to the second account and clicking a Confirm link in Messages.

Revisions:
- An linked alt can only edit the shared projects and visible studios of the original, and vice versa

This might be nice, but I would like it if you could change your main account. Why? Because my original account wasn't this account I am using right now. I then made this account and first used it as an alt, but then abandoned my first one and switched to this one. Now I have a new alt. If this feature were implemented already, then I would be stuck on the abandoned one. I don't like that account anymore, though.

So therefore, I would like the ability to switch main accounts and mark them as abandoned.

Additionally, I know the ST and some others use alt accounts to test features from other views. So if you decide you want to use it for testing instead but already linked it, then I would like to be able to un-link it.

If those things are added, then I say support and would like this implemented.

Two friends could link their accounts together; shared accounts with friends is not allowed on Scratch, and this would encourage that (it's still allowed with family, though).

you could just have 2 tabs with one tab having your one account and the other tab can have your other! It's that easy

You should add a textbox for the username of the alt to prevent users from just typing `password1` and sending a request to a bunch of people. You could also make a create an alt button, and not allow combining existing accounts, although not for the first day.

It's really not. Unless you mean Incognito tabs, that doesn't work. Say you opened tab one and was working on a big project on your main, then you open tab two and make forum posts on your alt. None of tab one's work will be saved because you signed into your alt last so it doesn't work.

Say you aren't working on a project and do this while making forum posts or something, everything you did on your main was now done on your alt.

However if you mean incognito tabs, then it would.

They don't unban on request, please use Contact Us to appeal your ban. Also, stop using this account immediately since what you are doing is called ban evasion, which usually results in a longer ban or even an IP ban.

This is the suggestions forum. The feature that this particular topic is suggesting isn't yet a part of scratch, and may not ever be.
