I've been getting used to the new scratch editor, but when I try to trim a sound, it doesn't work. I can drag the edges but when I click the save button nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong or is it just a problem with 3.0?

It literally happens on every file i edit that is longer than 5 minutes.Instead of trimming,it just lags the project severely and doesn't do it.The strange part is that this bug has been around since version 1 of 3.0 and still hasn't gone noticed by the scratch team.

Same here. Pretty sure they'll patch it some time. If you wanna do anything about it, I'd reccomend using a program called “Audacity.”

It's free and I've used it to edit countless audio pieces.

That's just about the only solution I have
