As per title, I think that this would be beneficial as if someone cannot find a shop they need for something fo rtheir project, they post a post that gets swallowed into the abyss by bumped shops and don't often enough get help.

There's probably a shop for everything really, so I doubt someone just flatout wouldn't be able to find a shop that works for them, but support regardless.

Semi support. I agree that some kind of improvements need to be made to the current situation in the requests forum but I don't think this would solve it as “shops” would be confusing for new users and they might assume it means actual shops or think that they don't get requests from there, plus someone could easily end up making a shop-like thing in requests (E.G: “Taking requests for bitmap art!”) and then both forums would become sort of identical over time.

I tried to ask a request not a long time ago but because of how the forum in made, shops constantly hide new topics. and the amount of shops make it very changing so it's hard to find a shop where you asked something before

I still believe that a hard-cap on the number of shops would be more beneficial.

Total support. We should literally rename requests to shops since it only contains shops anyways. Also, there is only a shop directory, not a request one, further pushing me to add a separate section
