ITopic: What goes in the Announcements forum?
This is a guide on what to comment on topics in the announcements forum.
DO post in the announcements forum:
1. Feedback on updates
You can leave feedback on website updates but make it constructive.
You could say something like:
Don't say something unconstructive like:
Also, sometimes the Scratch Team ask people to give feedback or thoughts such as in this announcement.
2. Questions
If you have a question on a new update/rule then you can post it on the Announcement topic. It would probably be best to post it in the Questions forum where it would get a bigger response.
3. Bugs & Glitches
You can post bugs and glitches with an update in the Announcements forum but they would probably be best in the bugs and glitches forum where it would receive more attention.
DON'T put in announcements forum:
1. Unconstructive feedback
Don't post unconstructive feedback such as:
2. Blockspam
A lot of the comments in the announcements forum are blockspam. Don't post stuff like:
This does not help anyone and makes constructive comments get lost. There is an official thread for testing blocks here: https://scratch-mit-edu.ezproxyberklee.flo.org/discuss/topic/273387/
3. Advertising
Do not advertise your projects here. Advertise in the show and tell forum.
4. Post-Number Spam
Often users will rush to the forum to try to get the first post in a new topic. Some posts will just consist of “First post!” or “3rd post!” and are technically spam.
Please don't post these because serious comments will get lost.
5. Other spam
The New Scratchers forum is most vulnerable to spam because the topics are listed on the Scratch homepage and the announcements forum is first on the forum directory. Do not spam. In the announcements forum only post: constructive feedback, suggestions, bugs, glitches and questions.
If you see anyone breaking one of these rules please report it.
If anyone has any feedback for this guide please post it.

Pretty nice!
Maybe you could add the link to the scratchblock testing topic?

This should be stickied, this is very constructive and helpful for the discussion forums.
I personally agree with @PrincessFlowerTV on adding links incase others do not know where to find them. Maybe you could also add if anyone sees spam or unconstructive feedback, that they can report the post.
Also, you should also put under the Don't area of talking about something completely unrelated to the topic, as basically that is necroposting.

Thanks for your feedback. I did suggest it to be stickied in the Announcements forum but Paddle2See said that the Announcements forum is doing okay without it. I then asked Paddle to give it a link in this topic: This should be stickied, this is very constructive and helpful for the discussion forums. https://scratch-mit-edu.ezproxyberklee.flo.org/discuss/topic/21060/. Paddle added a link of topic to this.

I will add links, but I don't think I will add not to necropost because all topics in the announcements forum are closed a few weeks later anyway.

Shouldn't you replace the link to the closed scratchblocks testing topic with one to the open one (https://scratch-mit-edu.ezproxyberklee.flo.org/discuss/topic/374997/)?
