Delete Studio Comments

My suggestion is that, if you are owner of a studio, you have the power to delete comments in that studio. This would be very useful for various reasons I can't be bothered to explain. If you can delete your own comment in a studio, you should be able to delete other comments if you are owner. I have a tribute studio for Avengers: Infinity War (see my sig), and you have to comment #INFINITYWAR. I also said that if you make a typo, just leave it for me to see, and I will delete it so you can re-write it. But without me having the power to delete comments in my studio, anybody can just post irrelevant comments and I won't be able to stop it. You might say that I can report it, but the Scratch Team (probably) won't delete it because it is ‘trivial’. If you can delete comments on your projects and on your profile, you should be able to delete comments in you studios, if you the owner.

I hope this gets through.

Check out my signature.

Edit: I did report an irrelevant post a few minutes ago and it's gone, but what about if somebody makes a typo. I can't report that, can I.

No Support. Managers could use this as an advantage to spam useless/inappropriate things and then delete them afterwards.

Then, how about only the owner of the studio. Why would he spam his own studio?

Semi-support
I've always wanted this to be implemented, I see how this can be useful, but a manager/owner can privately chat with an user, which isn't okay.

It's always possible, I suppose.

The thing is that the manager/owner could delete their own comments, which I believe is a rejected suggestion.

But if you could delete comments on your profile and projects, how about studios. I don't see the difference.

No support, it could be used for private messaging- two scratchers could easily just make a studio to talk and then delete the comments afterwards.

But you could do that with a project or a profile. The two people could just go onto one of their profile pages/projects and do that. I don't see what will make this studio thing different to the others. If you had a point, we should get rid of the ability to delete comments on your profile and projects.

I'm 50% sure this has already been rejected because of the potential for PMing…

But how is it different to someones profile or project comments. You could easily private message with those things, because the owner has the power to delete comments on their profile or projects. How will it be different on studios. If it could lead to private messaging, you should get rid of the power to delete comments on your profile and projects as well. I don't know what you have against studios. Anyway, it will be only the creator of the studio that has the ability.

But here just a question for those saying it could lead to private messaging: You're against this because it could lead to private messaging. This actually already exist with profile comments and project comments. Why can't you just make it happen with studios? What's the difference? It will be more helpful to a lot of people, and people alreadyhave the power to private message. On their profile you can delete comments afterwards as well as on your projects. So, I ask you, what is so different with studios that you are worried about private messaging, when there is already a potential of private messaging in the other two. Please tell me if I'm missing something. Maybe it's you guys missing something.

Support because you can already do this with profiles.

So, why do we have the ability to remove comments on projects or profiles? Are studios different?
edit: ninja'd :(

The argument those people are making is one that has been made by the ST, even if it doesn't make much sense. I guess the difference is that both parties can delete the message after they see it, unlike on profile pages.

As I understand it, this is rejected.

You already can delete your messages in studios if you are a manager.
