Yes, this forum is intended for people discussing Scratch's open-source projects, such as the publicly available parts of the Scratch 3.0 player. Before posting in a forum section, please check the title and any pinned threads to make sure that your topic is a good fit first. The introductory thread for this forum is here and explains a lot about the forum.

If you want to do a Q&A with your followers/friends, it'd be better to do it on your profile, or a project/studio. The forums aren't intended for open-ended discussion such as that.
