Option for a "Project made by <> and <>"?

Hi there!

I'm suggesting that when you create a project, you can tick a box next to draft saying “Collaboration”. This would then allow you to add a name next to your name in the username section.

Another possible way to implement it would be a plus sign next to your username which you could click to add another username. (Suggested by @python_megapixel)

There would be a maximum of 4 users, and any user added would get a notification, with a link to accept you are part of the collaboration. They could delete their username at any time. (Suggested by @-CrystalWaters-.

E.g. “Grow Your Garden”
@XCat & @–KittyPlatformers–

(Just lettin' ya know, –KittyPlatformers– is my side account.)

Thanks for reading!

Full support. Collaborations do exist, and they should be recognised. And I don't see how it could have a negative effect for anyone who didn't use it. You'd probably put a + symbol next to the first username, and then you click it and another box appears where you can add another username.

Thanks for the suggestion! I've revised the post.

Full support! My only concern is that people could add other people's names to their projects without them knowing it. Say user1 makes a project, and adds user2 to the creator bar. User2 has no idea, and if the project is bad, it'll make user2 look bad.

So I'd suggest that user2 has to confirm that they helped, if user1 attempts to add their name. They would get a message, and there would be something on the project page saying “user1 wants to add your name to this project”, where they could confirm that they helped and only then would it show their name on the project.

Sounds good?

Yeah, because you could also have

“Project!”
by @newscratcher and @griffpatch

I like this idea. Would it be limited to two users?

Semi-Support, i feel like this is a great addition, but what about M.A.P's? Would it be a long list of scratchers or is there a limited amount able to be added?

Seems like this is a pressing question.

Full support! If userA adds userB , then userB should get a message saying ‘You have been added to a collaboration’ and then the project, and userB has every right to take their name off if they don't want it on! Also, there could be a limited amount of, lets say 4 Scratchers? I think this is good, because then if its a collab then they can all have the project under their name!

This encourages collaboration and would be a great addition. I don't see anything negative about this suggestion, so… support.

Official answer (for now): Limited to 4 users. If you have a MAP, you should just share it under your own name.

Ahh! Yeah, I thought four users would be the limit too!

FULL SUPPORT ALL THE WAY. This would make collabs way easier. Maybe it only shows their name if they accept the request because you don't want to give credit to someone that didn't actually contribute to the collab. Then in ‘My Stuff’, there could be a collab folder at the side under ‘My Studios’. It will have all the collabs you have taken part in.

Another idea for this would be to everyone agreeing to share it. If one persons clicks share, the others have to as well to make it take action.

Why not? Support, since most of the people don't read Notes & Credits, they mostly think that the project is made principally by one person, while the second one just did a small part of the work.
