Remove sound effect "Ringtone" from Scratch 3.0
It's copyrighted from Apple. Some other sound effects also sounded familiar and odesong-b which is also from 2.0 sounds like it's from The Sims (EDIT: not from The Sims apparently), but I'm not sure about those.

According to this, the ring tone sound was taken from YouTube's free sound effect library.

Does odesong-b from 2.0 sound familiar also? Just want people's opinions since it sounds familiar to me. I'm pretty sure you're right. To my knowledge it is copyrighted.

I found something on the Terms of Use (my favorite place to go to when replying to a post on the forums):
So, I'm really unsure what to think.
The Terms of Use seem to say “Yes, Scratch can use it”, and the Wiki says things can only be taken down if the people who created it take it up with the Scratch Team.
And Sheep_Maker says it's from Youtube's sound library.
But you seem pretty confident that it's copyrighted by Apple.
So many contradicting things!
Semi-support–Support if Apple doesn't like that it's there because it's copyrighted, No Support if it's from Youtube's library and nobody cares what the Scratch Team does with it.
And an 5.5 The Scratch support materials library may contain images and sounds that are trademarked by third parties. I think that terms of use page it talking about users using copyrighted content, either that or it's poorly worded (The Scratch supports materials library? What? What is the Materials library and why does Scratch support it?) But anyway, if it is talking about the multimedia library, then it's invalid, Scratch can't just go “boom!” and make it so they can do whatever they want. It just doesn't work.

The Scratch Support Materials Library is the sprite, costume, backdrop and sound library (The Scratch supports materials library? What? What is the Materials library and why does Scratch support it?)

I am absolutely sure that if it were copyrighted, Apple would've been on Scratch faster than an Alaskan Bullworm on an underwater squirrel.

It's talking about the multimedia library - but they have to get rights to use the multimedia files before they can exist on the library.I think that terms of use page it talking about users using copyrighted content, either that or it's poorly worded (The Scratch supports materials library? But don't similes have to have the two words having same beginning letters, like alliteration?that's an… interesting simile I am absolutely sure that if it were copyrighted, Apple would've been on Scratch faster than an Alaskan Bullworm on an underwater squirrel.
how many times did I use “have” and that sentence was so broken.
