Serious problem. Please view. [more bad word filtering needed]
Scratch is supposed to be a safe site for users of all ages. Unfortunately, people try to hide bad words in projects, studios, and even people they're following. I recently saw a user who followed people in a certain order so it said a bad word. I think Scratch should have a bad word detector in projects and profiles. The text tool in costume editors should have a bad word detector. Also profiles should have a bad word detector that can turn bad words to random characters even if they are found through multiple projects, studios, or users.

Also, this site is not troll free. Even if we do whatever we can to not increase the chances of bullying, it doesn't mean bullying can not happen.
if <(username) = [Griffpatch]> then
switch backdrop to [you are the worst user, get out of this project! v]

Just report the project/comment with the inappropriate comment, or use Contact Us if a user is repeatedly doing inappropriate things.

It actually said 2 bad words used in the same order as how people at my school unfortunately say it.I recently saw a user who followed people in a certain order so it said a bad word. Honestly, no matter what, this problem will still be there. That's the Internet. For one thing, it should only matter if you say something bad if you actually share the project on the Scratch Website. Suppose you're purposely going to keep it unshared but still want to record it for something else. Maybe you just want to show a friend the project. That should be fine, because no one on the Scratch website that shouldn't be seeing it will see it.
Plus, certain words can be both bad words and normal words. Take the H word; it can refer to either the bad word or the place.
These things are why we need human judges with morality that will report things to the Scratch Team. Automatic detectors don't have morality and wouldn't be able to check what the situation is that something bad is being shown. Your case of someone spelling out bad words is just one of practically infinite things you can do to say something inappropriate. However, we will be able to tell that any of these infinite things are showing something bad, while automatic detectors have to be coded for every possible situation.

Hit the report button if it's inappropriate.

There isn't a report button for follower order. Hit the report button if it's inappropriate.

Then report the user, I guess.
Also, I have an idea of who it is.

If I wanted to follow a few people just because I liked them, and then it turns out that the first letter of each name of the user I followed is something inappropriate, does that mean I have to be banned?
How are we supposed to know if this is advanced trolling or an accident?
Just report the user if you think the user is doing bad stuff.
The internet would be worse if we just remove stuff because it can promote bullying in many ways. We can't have that happen. Even if this is an all age site, there will still be people posting inappropriate stuff. For example (true story), a user's post contained the s-word, a word that represents anything sexual, and spam.

It would replace the words with *'s in each letter so people don't read inappropriate things. Also, the scratchers were new scratchers who did nothing. The person wouldn't get banned. So?This one had the B word. Honestly, no matter what, this problem will still be there. That's the Internet. I don't think I really get what your'e saying. So if someone follows some people and the first letters of their names unintentionally spell a bad word, their names should be censored?

Lemme guess–Those accounts are troll accounts like the studio/project art that tell you to follow/curate/love in a certain order to make a picture. Those accounts typically have nothing, and are just for that one reason. Is that correct, @AmazingMech?It would replace the words with *'s in each letter so people don't read inappropriate things. What I'm saying is this is not an accident. There is no genuine reason to follow these. The user has to plan to do it.

Honestly, I'm probably just going to close this topic. LOL! I don't even know what this was for anymore…
