I agree, but you should conduct yourself on here like your dad is watching you btw.no support on that, i don't want dad yelling at me for a mistake i did on a website, alerts make me feel guilty and if they were on email,i would quit scratch because i don't want to be on a website that emails my dad every single thing i did Crazy thought - what if alerts were sent out by email? That way the parents would know what their kids were doing, but they wouldnt have to stick around in the kids mailbox forever.

That was more of a reminder-ish kind of statement that you shouldn't behave in a way that would get you “alerts” on here, sorry if that sounded confusing.what? I agree, but you should conduct yourself on here like your dad is watching you btw.

But the reason isn’t specific, they say a project is ‘to violent or scary’ but they don’t explain what part is to violent or scaryOn the alert it does give you the sentence of where you messed up so you can know what you did wrong. Like for example someone named a suggestion “Friends” so I said support and then I attached the lyrics for the “Friends” theme song and I got an alert for spamming. On the alert, it told me that that was what caused the alert. The last time my mom heard about Scratch she told me she didn't want me on there…Well, some parents don't read their kids messages… Yes 100% support
Parents should know what trouble their kid got into
Anyway I support this, usually (from what I've seen) alerts cause confusion to users who didn't know they were doing something wrong (hehe not me, I've never messed up)

Then don't do anything that you wouldn't want your dad to see.

Support, I want to see my past alerts, plus what if someone gets an alert, but accidentally clicks off the page before they read it?

Support.
I'd like it if “alerts” was added into the dropdown but separated from the main messages, so you could view them if you had to but you wouldn't feel guilty about them.

Support. Maybe you made a typo or you wrote the wrong thing by accident and you get an alert.

I don't think you'd get an alert for a typo, unless by sheer coincidence the misspelled word was impolite or something… Support. Maybe you made a typo or you wrote the wrong thing by accident and you get an alert.

Well, let’s say cat was a bad word, and someone wrote cat instead of cot. The filter would probably automatically detect it, even though in the context it may be clear they were talking about cotsI don't think you'd get an alert for a typo, unless by sheer coincidence the misspelled word was impolite or something… Support. Support, I save my alerts so I know what I did wrong at all times, and it'd be nice to have them stored in a separate URL once you X them out from the messages so I can view them later to prevent the same thing happening.

Oops, I accidentally bumped the same topic twice. I'm so clumsy!
