Bring back the old way of messages

This is @GC123456's remix account. This is also my first post. Anyway, as others said, the messages became longer, and now there's no such way as pages, making it hard to count messages in total.

I feel like the only one who actually liked this update

It is a bit fat, though. I don't support bringing the old way back. I do support having less spacing.

While I think it will take some getting used to, I really like it.

How important is it to know the total?

Eh, to be honest I like the old way. I've been using scratch for 4+ years, so this will take some getting used to.

Yeah, honestly the new messages are WAY too cluttered. Nothing is separated by which day the message appeared, and it's less compressed with new graphics, making it very tedious to scroll down to see all your notifications instead of easily being able to view all the messages at once when they were close together.

Ok, so people complained before that the old messaging system had no filter.
However when:

The ST actually add a suggestion for the first time in ages
They add the filter you were all asking for the past 3 years
They change the format so it isn't just ugly writing crammed together
You can find messages easier,

People still complain because they can't count their messages? Why does that matter?

Just need to point out:

You've said the new messages were way too cluttered AND less compressed at the same time, which I'm pretty sure cancel each other out.
Every message states the time it was made.
They've added the filter, made to separate the messages.

I'm still waiting for a decent reason to support this topic right now.

Yeah. Social media A doesn't have a standardized look and B isn't necessarily bad.

Wow, I didn't even know the messages had changed! I guess that's what happens when you're extremely inactive on Scratch. I tested the messages with this account and my old account. Honestly, the only thing that bothers me is the fact that even though I can see every message I have, I can't mark one as read when I did the test until I gave my old account more messages then logged back onto it. The message count I have stays the same on the new taskbar (officially called search bar) and disappears on the old taskbar.

Since that's all that bothers me, no support. Now this is #bring_it_back with me on the opposing side.
