If the project is yours, then the Studios tab will let you remove your project from all the studios it is in regardless of if you're a curator of the studio

Also, some people can't find the studio to remove it from or they don't know about that feature.

Exactly. Once I had to remove my project from a studio and it took me a while to find that studio.. then it didn't even work.

I consider myself semi-popular since I have about 700+ followers.. but I honestly don't care about my popularity so I don't even add tags to my projects or add them to any studios besides one studio I have for all my projects (exceptions are exceedingly rare)

Okay, now I get it. But still, my project with 659 views gets added to a game studio! It is not even a game! It really annoys me.

Okay, I respect your opinion, but I said that there could be an option to turn it on and off (for people who are popular wouldn't have to get a lot of messages.)

Support, having projects that I don't curate in, and don't give any permission to upload to the studio, is kind of annoying. To me, I think they take good projects just to get noticed (I bet this is not 100% the case, but, that's what I think)
