Cool, this sounds like a pretty good update, but there should some more to the update, like:
  • Adding a color input when defining custom blocks

    -(Definitely)Add more color input blocks

    -More effect blocks

-More search features(like actually searching a topic)

-Bring back the Discuss button(expand the navigation bar)

    -Cloud Data Improvements

    -And have more fun!

I'm not the one who decides what features are going to be added.
Also, check out Scratch3ify, an extension that lets you open any project in Scratch 3.0.

I'm really excited, and I know this is probably the weirdest thing to be excited for ever, for the fact that it's in HTML5 rather than flash. It will make it work everywhere, and much faster! ALSO STAGE3D WILL BE FINALLY GONE! (YESSSS)
It's also pretty good timing, considering Flash will be dead by 2020.

Yeah, by Chrome 80, I'm guessing Flash will be unsupported. (I have Chrome 60, by the way)

I like the Scratch 3.0 GUI, but I don't really like the design of the blocks.

Wow, this is the first time I've ever posted in this forum/.

Wish it was Official, then people would most likely to read it. Please change the title to Official. It sounds like clickbait and we all like to get prepared for Scratch 3.0, right?

I guess we are probably in Scratch 2.8 right now, assuming constant time between 2.0 and 3.0.

Well, if it were official, it would be written by the Scratch team. I don't want to lie.

scratch will never get 3D. It's too complicated.

You can either use hacked blocks to create variables, or just use a list.
