Add a "More" drop-down list [nav bar change]

The “Discuss” button has been removed from the Header. (“Help” has turned into “Tips”, so that isn't a problem.)
This stirred up some controversy as shown here.
I would like to suggest that the missing button(s) should be compiled in a “More” drop-down list.
(About would be in it, too.)
This would solve the “Discuss” problem and keep the space intact.

Stickfiregames has his own version of this:

Having a dropdown would also let it link more underviewed and useful pages, like the wiki.

Support. I honestly don't think the “space” is much of an issue, because there were 5 tabs before and it looked fine.
However, the “tips” is the updated version of “help”.

The “Help” part has been edited.

I support this if the Scratch team doesn't put the discussion tab back in the header but what else would be in this besides the forums, the wiki?

The wiki would be cool.

Support! This was my exact idea!

This could also be used to show other useful links such as the Statistics page or the Wiki.

This “more” dropdown can also include whatever links get hidden on devices with smaller width. It could also contain more or less items depending on the language's word width (Chinese has an unnecessarily long search bar, while German experiences a search bar width similar to what we had before)

Maybe they could have discuss as it's own tab, and replace the about tab with this. The starting links there could be about, the scratch wiki and statistics. Then maybe there could be a tab in account setting to customize what links are in the more drop down, so Scratchers could put links there that they find the most useful.

Would there be a limit for how many links could fit on the navigation bar? How would the links be prioritised on smaller screens?

As a drop down the links would be listen vertically instead of horizontally. I don't think that 3 drop down choices would hurt anything (It's one less than the drop down at your user name.) and people could put as many drop down links as they want for themselves, as they can judge how many links their screen can handle. However the customization is just an idea I have for this, the OP hasn't agreed or disagreed with it yet.

Semi-support. I like the idea of a dropdown, but I'd prefer if the forums had their own link and the help pages had a dropdown. Why? Because “more” doesn't give much information about what's in it and feels like a place to dump left over links, while “help” is immediately obvious and makes sense as a whole.

Having a dropdown would also let it link more underviewed and useful pages, like the wiki.

That is a great idea for what should be on the menu. It links to all of the most important informational pages, while not taking up to much space on the header. If this gets added I hope that's how it'll look.

I'll add it in the OP, but how did you name the image?

If you have a cubeupload account your images keep the name you upload them with, unless they are duplicates.

So from what I understand, Discuss and Help in the header were replaced with “Tips” due to translation issues, etc. Unfortunately, this gives us the inconvenience of having to scroll to the bottom of the page to find those things when really that shouldn't be necessary, and it means that New Scratchers may never find out about the forums for who knows how long.

A possible compromise:

I have also made a project proposing this.
