A block that plays sounds backwards

Scratch Team, Can you make a block that plays sounds backwards?
Example:
play sound [sound v] backwards ::sound
The block can be introduced in Scratch 3.0.

No support, just copy the sound clip and use the reverse tool.

I know, but adding a block to play sounds backwards makes it easier.

A block that plays sounds backwards

It could replace the reverse sound effect.

There's already a reverse tool.

It does?
I thought pressing the drop down in the sound editor was easy?

I think it's best not to be lazy and work for the reverse track

Just use the reverse tool in the sound editor.

Support times infinity. The ST will remove the reverse tool and add that block to replace it. DID ANYONE THINK ABOUT THAT BEFORE SAYING NO SUPPORT?!

Support. This would add a lot of functionality to scratch

The real question is, did you think before saying support? This will make it so that the whole sound will be reversed, then there would be no reversing only parts of it. Did you think about that?

No support, just use the reverse feature, we don't need a block for everything, no offense.

Support for a speed effect in 3.0's new sound effect block, that plays backwards if it is negative. That would let you reverse sounds but also do a lot more.
set [speed v] effect to (-1) :: sound

Yes. There could be this:
play sound [meow v] backwards for [selected area v] :: sound // also includes all sound, seconds (turns into a number input) and select lines.
Did you even think that I was going to add blocks to remove the reverse tool?

Yes. Just use the reverse tool. Sure the block will make the editing go by faster, but by maybe 2-3 seconds. No support

Would there be any uses for this block that can't already be done easily by using the current reverse tool in the sound editor?

Maybe a reverse speed effect:
set [reverse speed v] to (10)::sound //The number represents how much faster it's played than the original.

So (based on current blocks in Scratch 3.0)
set [speed v] effect to (-10)::sound // negative number = backwards

Well, I never knew that block would exist.

Support. I would say it's unnecessary for the tools we already have, but as we all know, sounds take up a lot of space. And if you're trying to make a big project, I don't think you'd want two of the same sound, one just reversed.

What most of you don't understand is that when you use the reverse tool, you have to reverse it again. If you don't want that, then this block is necessary.
