Bible reading | What have you learned recently?

This is a forum topic for us to talk about the Bible. I supposed that this was a great idea because the Bible should definitely be in this forum.

Here you can write:

  • What you have learned from the Bible recently.
  • What you have been reading from the Bible.
  • Questions about something in the Bible.
  • Other interesting things.

Rules:
  • Be kind. Just because someone does not believe exactly like you, don't fight about it! If you want to post something that you believe you can just simply post the Scripture that shows why you believe what you do.
  • Follow the Bible. The Bible tells us to “Love your neighbor as yourself.” That means that you should be respectful and loving when talking here.
  • This is a Bible topic, so if you post something that is backed by an opinion you should post Scripture with it.

This is a cool idea, I haven't seen anything like this on Scratch! I just finished Acts and John in my bible study at my Church.

Great. Maybe we can keep each other accountable to reading the Bible this way.

Remember we have to be careful when we are talking:

Oh, ok. I haven't seen that before, but I knew there had to be some restraints.

Pretty sure that means that such topics aren't allowed at all, not that you should be careful when creating one.

Oh. Hey Paddle2See! If this is not allowed. Please tell us on our profiles. I actually looked at the rules after I made this. I just thought that this should not be worse than, say, Harry Potter. If you do allow us to keep it. We promise to keep it respectful.

I'll let this on slide on the directory by making another section, but anyways, I do hope this is able to stay open.

We can give it a try and see how it does. If the moderators have to be breaking up fights all the time, it will have to be closed though - so please do your best to keep the conversation friendly and respectful. If somebody starts trolling the conversation, remember to just report the post and not respond to it.

And that is fine too. You may not have a lot of interest in this topic then - but I'm sure there are other topics where you can contribute productively.

I find the bible has morals that modern society chooses to shun; and should very well do so.
But I also love the great (gah how do I put this) handwriting(?) of the bible.
