Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX
Hello everyone!
I have created this topic so you can discuss the amazing and challenging game Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX!
The game is a rhythm game where you press buttons in the order it tells you to to increase you score. The are bonuses for combos, holds and being good. Sometimes you'll get a rainbow hold where you press as many buttons as you can to get bonus MP (Mirai Points)
With the score you get, you will get a grade which is C, B, A, S or S+ (in order of worst to best)
Each song has 3 main difficulties which are Easy, Normal and Hard.
You have to beat a song on normal to unlock hard, but I recommend playing the game on Easy first to get a feel for things.
You can also choose a partner. This is a vocaloid that lives with you and just walks around and sometimes falls over for no reason. You can buy outfits and snacks for them with the Mirai Points that you get from playing the game.
There are 6 choices for your partner. These Are: Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, Hatsune Miku, Megurine Luka, Meiko and Kaito.
You can use the L and R buttons to take a picture of your partner. They do weird things and make weird faces that are funny to capture and laugh at!
You can feed snacks to you partner by buying them, going into “Hang out” mode, pressing the “Snacks” button and then choosing the one you want them to eat. In hang out mode you can give your partner an allowance for them to spend on whatever they like. You can also play a minigame with them. The minigame is the board game called reversi.
You can also try and get enough MP to live in cool rooms (one of them is 100 THOUSAND MIRAI POINTS A WEEK) You can also buy decorations for your room such as statues and furniture.
The game is for the Nintendo 3DS and costs £30 ($40).
I presonally recommend this game to anyone who enjoys music, even if you don't speak japanese or like vocaloid.
Discuss the game here!
Edit #1: Reading this is like looking back to my past self who was bad at this game
…Oh wait that's exactly what it is

I like vocaloids and I love this game, but I haven't played it in a long time. It did introduce me to Doremifa Rondo, Ageage Again, and Watashi no jikan which are now a few favorite songs of mine. I haven't played in a long while, but this thread is encouraging me to pick it up again soon…it's very addicting.

I got the demo a few weeks ago and now I've used up over half my uses on it.
(If you don't know what this is, most demos for Nintendo 3DS games only have thirty uses. I only have the 30 use demos for Mirai and Yokai Watch 2, so I don't know what happens if you use them all up.)
Talk about obsessed

I have decided that Rin will just wear the Amatsu Kitsune outfit. The song is amazing and the outfit is adorable. I like vocaloids and I love this game, but I haven't played it in a long time. It's an amazing outfit! The fox ears make it so cool. They are a bit large compared to Rin's head though xD.

If I picked Rin I would probably always use Amastsu Kitsune or 1 2 Fanclub for the head and Lots Of Laugh or one of the Koneko No Payapaya outfits for the body.

My partner is Kaito, my favorite vocaloid. I change his outfit often (and my partner) but I tend to stick to Kaito in his clover club outfit. Rin is DEFINITELY my favourite vocaloid. I don't like Len though xD It's pretty funny that that one song he's on his own in is so hard its my least favourite.

Embarrassment-Hiding Adolescence? (That's the one by Honey Works.)
My favorite Vocaloid is Meiko, but I'll probably use Miku with the LOL bunny hood because I like her hair more.

^ Embarassment Hiding Adolecense! That song is so catchy. It's not so hard, wait until you get to Invisible, or the skeleton orchestra song. Those are absolute he….ck to play. Matryoshka was a bit hard at first, but since I've such an obsession with that song, I was able to start getting a hang of it.

Yeah, Embarrassment Hiding Adolescence is awesome. Did you know it was written specifically for Mirai?
Anyway, I saw Skeleton Orchestra And Lillia on tap and easy….in the comments someone said they wanted to throw their 3DS after playing it.

Also why is Cendrillon so much harder than Adolesence? Adolesence is easy, but Cendrillon is hard.
Also is it just me that's creeped out by Adolesence? The lyrics are just weird. The song description is worse D:

Does Miku… Die… In *Hello, Planet? I hope not, but it makes sense. She's laying on the floor and then it goes to “The End”. Please don't be true

Is everything as hard as Sweet Magic on hard. That should be renamed to “Nightmare” or “Lunatic” difficulty. Especially since it's the second hard level I've played

No, the picture. They look so serious, but their heads are so big that you can't take it seriously.
