Drawing Tablet Compatibility
Hello, Scratchers, and maybe the Scratch Team! I am here today to suggest something rather important to me and some other scratchers.
What I wish to suggest is: COMPATIBILITY WITH DRAWING TABLETS/PADS AND THE SCRATCH EDITOR!!!
Me and some other scratchers really don't like drawing with a mouse, so we use drawing tablets instead. But currently, drawing tablets aren't working with scratch, and this really upsets us!
So scratch team, I request for scratch to become compatible with all drawing tablets, such as Wacom, and those ones you can see your screen on.
Please take this into consideration.
With Care,
XxLunaHeartxX

The ST in in the process of making scratch mobile friendly (Either with an app or a better designed website for mobile). Please look at the stickies before posting.
I assume that this would include any drawing tablet.

Uh
Do you know what a drawing tablet is? It's not even a tablet that you use to play games or anything.

A DRAWING TABLET IS A THING YOU HOOK UP TO YOUR COMPUTER WITH A USB CABLE AND USE TO DRAW ON THE COMPUTER! NOT A MOBILE DEVICE! WHY DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND THIS?!

There was a similar topic a while ago. While I do think this is overall a good idea, I do have one suggestion for anybody finding themselves in the situation where they want to use their tablet with Scratch: find a different, better drawing software, as you will likely find that if you learn to use it you can be much more effective than you can be at Scratch.

I thought drawing tablets worked as a mouse, so you could draw in Scratch with it.
I draw with a mouse, to be honest.

I have a drawing tablet and I can confirm it's just a mouse in the shape of a pen (the pen part alteast) I thought drawing tablets worked as a mouse, so you could draw in Scratch with it.

Drawing Tablets (if you happened to search it up, which I understand you may have not) are:
A graphic tablet (also known as a digitizer, drawing tablet, digital drawing tablet, pen tablet, or digital art board) is a computer input device that enables a user to hand-draw images, animations and graphics, with a special pen-like stylus, similar to the way a person draws images with a pencil and paper.Sauce

Most tablets are compatible with Scratch.
I suggest a Wacom or Huion. Both work on Scratch just fine. (I use a Wacom Intuos)

If your talking pen pressure and opacity, we don't need it (i use the mouse for my art, with a lot of tweaking of vector points. ), just use some kind of art program that supports those features and your good. I dunno. Scratch isn't about art, it's about programming, but in the long run, well made sprites = well made projects. So semi-support I guess

Semi-support.
I can see this as useful to the Scratchers who focus more on art, although Scratch is more centered around computer coding.

I would say support. my drawing tablet is really iffy on when it wants to work in the editor. It would be alot easier for people to make nicer-looking sprites this way.
