Put timezones in the options!

The majority of Scratchers do not live on the Eastern Seaboard, so why should they be treated like they're in Eastern Standard Time Zone? Time zone inaccuracies lead to misleading times for posts, notifications, comments, and more confusion. Therefore, I think that there should be an option to set one's time zone on Scratch. The time zone, if it hadn't already been changed, would depend on the country that the Scratch lived in, and if the Scratcher hadn't specified his/her country yet, it would be Eastern Standard Time by default.

I fully support this, as having the times 4 hours ahead annoy me a little.
However, I feel as though it may be hard to implement, as some projects for some people may say, um, “Last edited December 13” and yours could say “Last edited December 12”. I feel as though it's in one time zone for consistency across the whole site, instead of having to change EVERY INDIVIDUAL WEBPAGE for each individual user.

Yes, support! It's confusing when the time is an hour ahead!

Absolutely, still not sure why it hasn't been implemented. I'm in the +10 timezone so there's a big calculation to make.

Looks like it is basically a duplicate of this.

Support. I don't understand the point of Military Time or whatever Scratch currently uses, and being able to set it to our own would help a lot.

Thanks for the link - again! It does look like this is a duplicate topic so I'll close it to keep the conversation all in one place.

Please use the existing topic in the link above.
