We used to be lead by HarryB178, but he has recently quit scratch and left me, talkingtoilet8, as supreme overlord of this collaboration.

About the Collaboration

I assume you clicked on this topic to find out about and maybe join this collaboration. It will e a role-playing collaboration, and yes, role-playing is necessary. It will make collaborating fun as well as interesting. This collaboration is about Super Heroes, as you may have guessed. Each member will have his/her own character, who can be a Super Hero, Super Villain, Anti Hero, or just an ordinary civilian. You will act as if you are that character.

A Summary of what has happened so far:

This collab has been going for over eleven months now, and quite a lot has happened. So, read this if you want to be filled in on the story. It started with a man named Techno, who discovered he could control electricity. He met a man named Nil, who could modify memories. They searched the world, looking for Aware and found a healer named Abagail, and a mercenary named Crimson. But soon they began to be hunted by the OAS, and Organisation for Apprehending Super-humans. They found the OAS, but escaped. However, Crimson's A.I. robot became independent., and rebelled against him, so they had to destroy it. Then, the creator of the robot, George, turned out to be a hugely powerful Aware. The OAS and the Aware worked together to fight George, and Feth and Peter Piper helped. Nil betrayed the Aware to the OAS, but was killed. However, a clone of him called Oblitus murdered Techno. That was the end of the first story, the beginning.

The second storyline was in Loco's Lair. Loco was a hugely powerful Aware, a ‘Legendary’, who could create illusions. He trapped all the Aware and some humans and set them a series of challenges, trying to get the to show their true power or ‘Mega-Aware’ emotion. This would let Loco become incredibly powerful. In the end, an Aware named Sentinel summoned the Elite Clan of Warriors to help and created a portal for most of the Aware to escape. Sentinel and an Aware named Geoman remained behind to kill Loco. Geoman was killed and Sentinel was captured by the Clan. Another Aware, Perceive, killed Loco and an Aware called Glacier to escape before the base was destroyed.

After this, the third story arc began, called ‘The War’. Sentinel, an Aware was instructed by the spirit of the Aware to lead them in the war which was coming. Sentinel broke out of the Clan prison and freed many Aware prisoners. They rioted against the Clan, and began scouring the world, attacking ninja bases everywhere, with Sentinel at their leader. They destroyed a final base and many Aware died at the hands of an Aware that resembled an angel. But they triumphed, and the Elite Clan of Warriors were destroyed. Sentinel then founded a nation called ‘Utopia’ for the Aware to live on.
But the OAS and the Government declared war on Utopia, and started a huge battle as the OAS were given free reign over the Aware problem. Sentinel managed to help win, by using the mercenary forces of Neon, an Aware who could power up objects, combined with the alliance with the African tribes of the Nygatho and Nekrone.

After this, a new force came into play. They were the Gold Hunters, a band of ruthless mercenaries lead by the Infamous Spectre. They created a scheme and ransomed the government by cutting off the electricity supply in the capital. The government unleashed an Aware, Subject 42, who could clone himself. Subject 42 went crazy and began attacking everyone, but was eventually defeated by Darkrider, a teleporter, and Neon.

But the Gold Hunters were not finished. The Spectre rallied a new team, with a mercenary called Myrkrio, Neon and Peter Piper, and journeyed to Peru, where they fought their way through the Lost Temple, and place where the Sceptre of Power was hidden. The Gold Hunters fought the OAS there, and a new organisation, the OANBW, while Peter and Myrkrio went for the Sceptre. Peter was taken away by skeletons, but Myrkrio managed to retrieve the Sceptre and escape with it.

Then we reached , the Void Invasion. The Voids are a specie of shapeshifting aliens lead by General Alk Raggon. They began infiltrating Earth by pretending to be important humans. The Voids also had plans to invade nearby planets such as mars. Sentinel discovered this, and the Aware called a meeting to defeat the Voids. During this time is was revealed that Humans and Human-like species weren't the only awares in existance. An orange sheep named Lam was found to have existed since the third storyline, but never really had any reason to help as he lived on Mars. Many new awares were found and introduced as many awares from previous storylines had died. The awares continued to fight the avoids. General Alk Raggon decided to try to launch a full scale invasion of Mars. After the battle of Lams Robots vs. the Voids many voids were destroyed and the armies scattered but not all of them were completely wiped out. General Alk Raggon was later captured on a different planet, and no one knows who the new leaders are. The Void army constantly grows and is pouring men into Earth. The Voids are still a threat!

The fifth plot line was the hunt for the five shards of Darkness. These will give the owner access to a very powerful weapon. An evil creature named Vampire tried to get all five shards. He recruited many Awares to his side and then started attacking the owners of the shards. After losing many of his Awares in battle with different owners such as Dark Master, Ray Alpha, and Lam he turned to his last resort; he would destroy the earth if he didn't get them. The Owners gave them up willingly but a final battle was started in which many characters were killed. Sentinel, the aware general, was corrupted by the presence of all five shards and was teleported into deep space with all 5 of them. Vampire drowned while killing another aware who drowned as well. Almost all of the followers of Vampire were killed by Ray Alpha, Axel Zane, and other various Awares. Later the shards were found by Lam who destroyed them and then buried Sentinel with honor.

The 6th Plotline was a time where many new evil and unique creatures appeared. They all had their own purposes but they all agreed that the many good awares needed to be destroyed. There is Darkness, a powerful being set on turning earth into a planet of darkness and helped by the evil king of darkness on another planet. There is Anarchy, an evil being set upon bringing wrath upon humans and human civilization. There is ZLegolas, a powerful elf magician set upon turning earth into a planet for elves and removing humans from a large part of the earth. His sidekick Spur, an elf archer who participated in many of the earlier storylines as an aware, and then rejoined his kin in his quest, to the surprise of the good awares and former comrades. War, a crazy but strong aware set upon destroying everything and countless more, many set to evil because of personal reasons. While many battles and fights occurred, not many awares died.

The 7th Plotline is revolving around a new legendary aware named Tim, the first seen in a long time. The boundary between the 6th and 7th Plotline is unclear, as many evil characters still exist and still fight. The good and evil all understand Tims power, yet Tim is still a child and can't wield his powers to his full extent. The two plot lines are going on simultaneously as many battles are expected to occur in the future. Tim first came in the hands of ZLegolas, but was kidnapped by Axel. Tim then escaped and spent time as a floater. During this time, many of the villains of the 6th Plot Line came to an end. Darkness was corrupted by his own being. Anarchy's trail was lost, he was probably murdered at some point. ZLegolas and Spur are mysteriously disappeared after battling many awares and even killing some. War killed Tim's mother, but was later blown up by Tim on his own yacht. During this time many new characters arose as well. Tim was cared for by Lam for a while before rebelliously leaving Lam to live his own life. He met many other Aware's including Mallory. The Gold Hunters tried to recruit him, but they got in a conflict with Lam. Lam was also engaged in a conflict with Axels brother Aiden, as he continued to recruit awares to the Utopian cause. Aiden was later captured by Axel. Tim then got captured by the OAS. Lams robot army tried to save him by attacking the OAS base. He was unsuccessful in getting him out but did stop the process of extracting his powers. The actions of Zak were also notable as he attacked the OAS base but also was unsuccessful. Tim attempted to flee as well. His fate is unknown.

The 8th plotline began with the Collian invasion, when an alien race called the Collians, led by Supreme Military Commander Ka'zar (Let's face it, Phasar did nothing.) to take over the Earth. He began conquering the world by taking over multiple important cities. Enemies became friends to stop the aliens from wiping the planet out. All the awares teamed up and finally were able to destroy the main Collian spaceship (which was consequently sold for tons of money by the Gold Hunters), leaving the remaining Collians stranded with no more reinforcements. In a final bid for dominance, Ka'zar took over the White House, killed the President, and began to fire nukes indiscriminately. It took the combined power of the awares, Lam's robots, the OAS, and the Gold Hunters to finally take him down, with a new recruit to the Gold Hunters, Visual, delivering the killing blow. Soon, the Collians were vanquished. But had they really lost?


The 9th plotline will revolve around the OAS who they blame the aware for destroying New York, London and Moscow, and leads to WW3 between the aware and the humans. Heralson is the current leader of the OAS, even though he is an aware himself. There is also a mysterious mercenary known as Shootin' Starr who is hunting down awares.

Rules

Ah, yes, the rules. We have to have some of these. Otherwise, it could get out of hand quite quickly and easily. This list will be updated regularly, so keep checking it.

1. Everyone can die. This means no resurrections and bringing back dead heroes, villains and other characters. The Admins will have the power to kill off characters, in which case, you can make a new one.
   
   
2. No over-powered characters or weapons. The Admins will decide if a character is acceptable. Remember, this isn't Marvel or DC, and all characters should be about equally strong, so that they can fight and either can win. Major villains are allowed to be slightly stronger, since they will probably be attacked by, like, 4 characters at once.
   
   
3. No stealing powers. You cannot take another character's power and use them on a different character, even if a character is dead.
   
   
4. Obey the Admins. They decide what happens in the story, and do not argue with them. If you are not an admin, do not decide what happens.
   
   
5. Be respectful. Follow the Community Guidelines, and keep in mind that Scratch in a Community of all ages.
   
   
6. Be active. You must post regularly and contribute well. If you are going away, please tell us, and tell us if you are inactive.
   
   
7. Have fun. The most important rule, always have fun.

Character Creation Form:

Most powers come from a mysterious force known as the “Awareness”, so you don't need to explain your powers in your backstory. Your character can't be as strong as Superman or Thor or Goku. Even Iron Man would be Over-Powered because of the sheer number of different weapons he has. And weaknesses aren't just limitations of a power. And most normal powers are taken, so be original.

And please, make up your own characters.

Awareness - This gives characters their powers in this universe, letting them interact with their environment.
Aware - A character with such a power.
Mega-Aware - A state of being where an Aware enhances their power by reaching a heightened emotion. Temporary on all Aware but legendary.
Awareness Enhanced - A state of being where Aware powers are greatly enhanced by a device known as an Awareness Enhancer. Temporary on all Aware.

OAS - The Organisation for Apprehending Superhumans. Government-run, this group is the most dangerous opposition super-powered individuals will face. They promote anti-Aware action and have a legal right to kill and capture Aware. They had a critical role in the First Aware War and the beginning.
ECW - The Elite Clan of Warriors. This was a ninja clan which captured and brainwashed Aware to work for them. They were important in the founding of Utopia and the First Aware War. They are now destroyed.
Utopia - A Nation founded by Sentinel, they lived on an island. During the First Aware War, Sentinel led them and nearly beat the OAS including killing the President, however a huge attack from the OAS destroyed this island. The Aware are now in hiding.
Gold Hunters - A criminal organisation formed by The Infamous Spectre to gain money. They played a critical role in the Spectre's Scheme plotline and the Lost Temple story arc.
OANBW - The Organisation of Artillery, Nuclear and Biological Weapons - A key player in the Void invasion, the OANBW helped defend the Earth against the Void army. They were led by Ray Alpha and currently have taken a back seat in world affairs.
Void Army - A group of shape shifting aliens who invaded Earth as part of the Void Invasion plotline. They have since been defeated, but a few may still remain on Earth.
Nygatho - Abagail's tribe, loyal to Utopia but current whereabouts unknown.
Nekrone - A criminal group used as a front for the Dark One's helping of the Aware.
Aware Republic - A group which is being founded to replace Utopia and work for the good of the aware.

Just continuation. There are no changes, it's just so we can list the events of the 8th plotline, and list any new characters, since Harry can't do it anymore.

Well, Ka'zar took the president's nuclear thingy and used US missiles to bomb the other countries. And “It wasn't us! It was evil alien dude! We promise!” is not a very convincing excuse.

She was one of five who was handpicked for further training at OAS Academy in a undisclosed location. This was at the time when suspicous activity from awares were reported. This so-called further training was called Project Blue Book where the picked ones would go undertests to able be evenly matched with any type of awares one field OAS personnel would encountered. This was deemed unsuccessful but Mara was injected with a modified DNA which slows down aging and blood lost by x4

Well, Ka'zar took the president's nuclear thingy and used US missiles to bomb the other countries. And “It wasn't us! It was evil alien dude! We promise!” is not a very convincing excuse.

It was basically the king of all dog ate my homework excuses. xD
