I still don’t get what’s with the amount of people who act like the shipping topics are a bad thing (I remember smth similar happened on the Mario shipping topic) if you like shipping, cool talk about your ships here. If you don’t, cool just don’t talk on this forum. There’s nothing inherently wrong with shipping unless if it starts shipping wars or if the ships are problematic/would be illegal in real life (for example, a ship like Sonic x Vanilla. Yes that’s a real thing and no I don’t know why people ship an adult woman who has a child with a literal teenager)

Anyways here’s a few ships im fond of;
-Sonic & Shadow (prob my fave ship, idk I’m a sucker for rivals 2 lovers & the bumblekast episode was cute)
-Sonic & Sally (I love Archie and SATAM so this is a given)
-Sonic & Mina (idk if this is a popular shop or not but idk I just think they’re cute and he’s way better than Ash)
-Amy & Tekno (the best Amy ship, argue with a wall)
-Antoine & Bunnie (they are SO cute)
-Knuckles & Rouge (their tension is so obvious)
-Knuckles & Julie-Su (not counting the weird distant cousins thing that Penders said he’ll be removing in his upcoming reprints of the knuckles spin off)
-Geoffrey & Hershey (I don’t like Geoffrey all that much but if someone can hold him down from thirsting after a teenage girl then Hershey go do your thing and bag him)
-Honey & Breezie (that is, if assuming they’re around the same age)
-Silver & Shadow (younger me was obsessed with this ship, I still like it but not as much)
-Silver & Espio (they’re adorable together)
-Whisper & Tangle (super basic answer but ofc, who doesn’t ship them atp)
-Charmy & Saffron (they’re cute, it’s a shame she basically became his care giver after he got brain damage, I wouldn’t mind a au where they’re both kids and not teens)
-Nicole & Sally (I mean duh, even Ian Flynn & the other writers was trying to throw in hints and nods to them becoming a thing)
-Tails & Cosmo (again another basic one but it’s cute)
And there’s def more these are just the ones that I can come with off the top of my head

The only Sonic ship I will accept (discounting Sonic Boom) is Whisper and Tangle. It is extremely obvious that they're a thing.

I think I read that they were supposed to be a couple in the beginning, but Sega made the thing were you can't have character romance or something along those lines. And then there was that article saying that the writers wrote them as if they were in a relationship so that's cute. Also ONE source the other one is a vid on Reddit so uhhhhhh, it was a clip of a Bumblecast episode where he says “Sega doesn't want to go deep into relationships so right now Tangle and Whisper are just really really really really really the bestest friends.”

yeah where the characters are actually officially shown to have a certain fondness for one another.
that's the thing that always gets me about sonadow, it doesn't feel plausible
like, yeah okay I get it, introvert and extrovert make cute couple + gay go brrr but it's explicitly stated not just in the games but external media (TV shows, comics, takeovers) that Shadow does NOT like sonic
contrast that with sonaze, and the two have held hands without making it awkward PLENTY of times, and the two have a pretty pleasant friendhsip

I mean ships are just head canons, they don’t rlly need to fit into canon (the only ppl who think their ship is actually canon are sonamy fans) but I feel like Shadow does have some sort of respect/care for Sonic, I don’t think he outright 100% dislikes Sonic

Yea, I’ve seen that a lot on this website. It’s strange to me but then again there are a lot of children on this websites so I understand it
