So I've got a suggestion… y'know how the the time and date for Scratch is set to the time at MIT? Well, my idea is that there can be a setting where you can set your time zone so you don't get confused. It'll make things easier for people who don't live in the same time zone. There isn't too much to explain, since it's on a lot of sites. I made a quick picture in MS Paint.

I think it automatically adjusts now based on your location.

If it doesn't, then support.

Really? I don't really pay attention to it too much.

Never mind. I guess I'll close this then.

Also to show the user's timezone on every post.

As said above, the time shown on the site adjusts to the time zone the computer/user is using, but I do support MasterJPixel's idea of showing the time zone of the poster as well.

You don't need to see my timezone and then eventually track me down.

You could turn it off in Account Settings.

I don't know how a time zone will help you get tracked down (assuming you're in the USA)

Agreed, but there should also be an option to disable this.

I also agree and support an option to disable it.

Yeah, this would be neat if there was a way to enable / disable it. c:

It doesn't for me. It appears that their time is three hours ahead of my time (by looking at my messages), so support.

It doesn't. I flew halfway around the world and I get the studio notifications in the morning.

It has the correct time, so this is pointless.

I don't think it would need to be adjusted in account settings, it can just base it off of the time given by your computer (just like many scratch projects do by comparing “days since 2000” and "current [ v]").

Another option is to change the few pages on scratch that do say actual times to just say how long ago something happened, like comments do.

It only shows the correct times for people in Eastern North America/Northwest South America. I assume you are in this area so your time is correct, but for many others their time isn't.
