Phase 2 and 3 don't say what I was talking about. Everyone should give a reason, not just the ST.

No Support. The ST are busy, they would be overwhelmed. Also, Supports don't matter. What matters is how the suggestion would help make Scratch better.

You just said “Supports don't matter” and “No Support” in one post…

True. That single section of the post did not help the suggestion get implemented or not, but neither did the word “is” yet it was still used

No support. It's not voting. When users say what they think, they are saying their opinion. So what users think shouldn't affect what others think. It's just an opinion.

I meant “Supports don't matter” as in, “Supports do not make a suggestion good or bad.”

I think we should just get rid of support, no support, semi support, and indifferent and just get out the reasons and “discuss” (aka the button you probably clicked on to get here). Green, yellow, and red doesn't really fit Scratch's blue-and-grey color scheme. Phase 1 is encouraging unconstructive “discussion” which is against the CG's. Phase 2 and 3 is a bit confusing because the ST is already working on a bunch of stuff so it will take a really long time for all those suggestions to be implemented. And I don't think they'd add the block here, they'd probably add it to Scratch 3.0

Well maybe we can use that too

That why im actually doing this

i agree with most everyone here, as i have said in my first post, the points dont matter! Just the strong opinions, and if it would make scratch better.

think of it like this.

Somebody says

“HEY! lets unban fnaf cuz its not scary!!!!!”
although the ST has rejected this many times, and its just a matter of opinion, people are going to support. and not support,
A bunch of new scratchers who have/. have not read the stickys will support along with probably a few bots (they like to push buttons)
THEN the ST has to deal with a rejected suggestion and it wastes their time answering rejected things and looking at it instead of making scratch better.

sorry for the rant

Why do the # of supports matter that much? (I've done it too, but… >_<)

Sorry, but I'm going to have to no-support this suggestion. Scratch contains users of all ages, some of which may be too immature to make educated voting decisions. Many times, I have seen a suggestion be no-supported because it seems to confusing or is misunderstood, or on a whim, especially programming suggestions. Some people may not realize how passionate people feel about a suggestion, and their own reasons against it do not reflect its potential benefits. I have even considered asking people to refrain from supporting/no-supporting completely on my own suggestions, and instead discussing it, because of unconstructive downvotes. If your suggestion was to be implemented, then poor voting decisions could significantly hurt suggestions. Like Zro716 said, logical reasons should be more significant that numbers.
