If we could use pictures in comments (like in DeviantArt as an example),it will be more useful(so if you want to show a picture, you must not write a link)
and funnier (if you want to post a meme,or a cool gif).

Personally, I don't really like picture comments like they have on facebook because then everyone tends to read those and ignore all the other comments, but I can see why people might want them.

Btw,if everyone ignores the other comments,it will be actually removed. But why not try? Scratch is really other than facebook.

But then it would be difficult to scroll through the comments now that everyone has posted some large gif….
unless the images are automatically resized.
That, I support.
EDIT: comma needed

I don't think comments would be a good medium for images, especially seeing as they don't even allow for simpler types of rich formatting already.

Semi-support. It would be nice, but it would crowd up the comments section if everyone used them.

What if the images are inappropriate? Would you just report the comment?

Seems like a good idea, but 2 concerns:
1. What if they make scratch laggy? On Chromebook I have a ton of lag already, but would pics make scratch even laggier?
2. Ok, so this is unrelated, but very rarely I check out a Twitter post from the news or something, and then in the comments someone posts an unrelated pic of a scary ghost 0_o I mean, I'm hoping it wouldn't happen here, but I'm still nervous abt comment photos…

No support, because then everybody would put images and then the quarantine scratch website would be implemented and even that would not stop scratch from lagging. Also, then everybody would probably figure about image hosting sites and all that. Aren't those emojis enough?

No support. I simply do not like the idea. They would just take up the whole of the comment section, be simply distracting. To be honest, I don't even like pictures on the forums. And posting memes. No. Just… no.
And anyway, the reason animated thumbnails aren't allowed on the front page is because it can lag user's browsers. So there is no way they would be allowed in comments, even if this were to get implemented.

You can link assets.scratch.mit.edu or cnd2. […] in the comments. And comments have a limit of 500 chars - why should you be able to add huge images? And you can't even upload images in the way more advanced forums - why should you in the comments?

No support, you can't blacklist images (I think) this would make it easier to post inappropriate content, someone could post a screenshot of a discord link, or a picture of a bad word, or an inappropriate image etc.

No support. So much spam potential and inappropriate images could be spammed by bots. It would rip the website apart.
