I just thought of this, what if when you follow a topic, it shows up as a green or purple link, and the stickies show up in orange or toned down red? (The latter wasn't my idea.)
Please state a reason for non-/semi-/supporting.
Also, if you only say support, I assume you mean all of them.

The purple background are followed topics, the orange are stickies, and the orange-purple are followed stickies.

Other ideas:
an “unfollow” button next to the forum link. I know there's one in topics, but in forums outside of topics, when you want to unfollow the topic but not go in it.
add an icon in front of the followed topic like stickies have and Followed: in front of the topic name
stickies to have an orange background until read then it becomes an orange link

No support for following, as I don't see a purpose, and it would ruin Scratch's theme. I do support for more pronounced stickies.

No support for what topics you're following. That can just clutter up the page.
I do support a bright orange (or other readable color) for the stickies. It would help draw attention to them so more people could see them.

How could it clutter up the page? My suggestion is to give followed topics a different color.. No support for what topics you're following. That can just clutter up the page.

Why not? If the stickies are colored links/colored boxes, it will draw more attention to the stickies, and possibly make more people read them. No support as I do not like the idea of colored links in the forum.
Semi-Support for followed topics Instead add an icon in front of the followed topic like stickies have and Followed: in front of the topic nameEh, the follow idea isn't too bad, I'd still prefer a colored link though.

Well.. What about a more pronounced blue, like No support for following, as I don't see a purpose, and it would ruin Scratch's theme. I do support for more pronounced stickies.this?

When I said “clutter up”, I mean it would make it too bright and flashy. How could it clutter up the page? My suggestion is to give followed topics a different color.. No support for what topics you're following. That can just clutter up the page.

Although support if it uses the more pronounced blue you suggested.

Support. New Scratchers might read the stickies more then.
I also support a “unfollow” button next to the forum link. I know there's one in topics, but in forums outside of topics, when you want to unfollow the topic but not go in it.

I'm neutral about this suggestion (at this moment.) As it'll better enforce the guidelines of reading stickies, it may make the forums look a bit less appealing to newer people. The main reason why is because there is a lot going on at once, and adding another color to the discussion list may make things a bit more frantic.
(LIKE - Promotes stickies, initial design)
(DISLIKE - Complicates the forums, less appealing to newer Scratchers.)

Support.
This would be good for quickly seeing which topics you are following, and the stickies.

Good idea. This will make the stickies bolder and more easily able to be seen.

I know that, it's just the owner (Scratcher1002) could have just used cubeupload for free instead of putting in a blurry mockup in a project. The suggestion isn't about images or image hosting.
