Better remix detection
That's notgood as you can remove the username. Plus if you read the OP properly there is a better suggestion with JSON. Not foolproof but much better. I had an idea for how the scratch website would detect this. Basically, project files would include the user name of the user who created them. That way, downloading a project someone else made will remember that that other person made the project.

I support this with the idea that the ST will have implemented encrypted files, and have the project reported automatically when posted. That way, the ST can take action.

No, I don't think that it should report it. Rather, just automatically add the remix tag when the project is uploaded. I support this with the idea that the ST will have implemented encrypted files, and have the project reported automatically when posted. That way, the ST can take action.

I support this. I've never had anything get stolen from me, but it doesn't sound very pleasant for people just to take your stuff and act as if they made it when they indeed didn't. thanks for making me sound like a nerd Grammarly
