New and helping daughter
Hey Everyone.
My Daughter is just turning 7 in a week and we are starting this process together. I have a a long tech background but very little of that is coding. Some HTML, but that's not really the same thing,
Any suggestions on where the best place is to start for a 7 year old?
Thanks

Welcome to Scratch! The best place to start with is the Scratch Wiki, which can tell you all about the blocks and about this site.

Hey! Welcome to scratch! I think joshuaho is right. The Scratch Wiki is a good place to read everything about scratch. But maybe raeding the whole wiki will get boring after a while… So you can also click Create and the project editor will open. There you can move your mouse pointer to the Corner on the right at the top and click the Little Grey question mark in a circle there. then a tutorial will open. And you can also click Explore and look for tutorial projects. There're some good ones.
I hope this helps. Good luck! And if you need any help feel free to ask.

Scratch is definitely the best for starters. As said above, the Scratch Wiki is very helpful.
