Forum Suggestion [reopen your forum topics]
No support, this could open up a whole new realm of annoyance… Someone could troll by closing and re-opening a topic over and over again, no matter the time frame between.
It's easy enough to report your topic and say “I accidentally closed it” or “can you re-open this for me?” something short, sincere, and down to the point, no need to write a novel explaining what happened.

No support. 3 days is just too long to wait. How about, if you re-open a topic, you have to wait another 24 hours to close it again, and if you close a topic, you have to wait 1 hour to re-open it. If it was like that, I would support, because it would be less work for the scratch team.

Support!
And yes, if the scratch team closes it, you can not re-open it unless you ask them first
Edit: But I dont think the scratch team can add buttons, the forum system they use, DjangoBB hasnt been updated in 5 years!

Support if it was like this, but whenever the Scratch Team closes a topic, you can't reopen the topic. Support, I accidentally closed my topic.
here is how it would go!
1. if you close your topic, after 24 hours, you can open It back up.
and 2. if the scratch team closes your topic, you can open it back up, but you will still have to wait 24 hours.

That's what I mean in the first post- you can re-open it UNLESS the ST closed it.Support if it was like this, but whenever the Scratch Team closes a topic, you can't reopen the topic. Support, I accidentally closed my topic.

Why? The topic would be closed by the Scratch Team for a legitimate reason. 2. if the scratch team closes your topic, you can open it back up, but you will still have to wait 24 hours.

Revised: You will be able to reopen the topic if it has been 96 hours (4 days), and if you agree for the ST member to remove the inappropiate content, then you can reopen it. If it has not been 96 hours, then the request will be ignored. The amount doubles every time that user makes an inapproiate post. (like a ban)Why? Why? Lots of times we don't close topics because they're “inappropriate” — we close them because they're duplicates, rejected suggestions, or just not a good fit for the forum. I don't see much of a reason to re-open those topics. Are you then suggesting a way for us Scratch Team members to check some box that says “Allow topic to be re-opened”, and then we would just make sure that box is unchecked for any duplicates, rejected suggestions, etc.?Those topics can't be reopened. Why?
