has the scratch website been re-written in Node? I thought the 2.0 site was written in Python/Django, not Node.

I think scratchr2 (the old system) is written in Python, while the new system (called scratch-www I guess?) is written in React JS.

It's written with React and SCCS.
I think scratch.mit.edu (what they released the code for) is the frontend while api.scratch.mit.edu is the backend…

@technoboy10 and @Jonathan50 you're correct – the new front-end, scratch-www, is in React and SCSS. However, we're still using the existing system for most of the site, and are in the process of moving things into scratch-www. So a lot of things are still in Python for the time being.
