Support for shift+enter key sensing

Pretty much summed up in the title… would probably look like this
<key [shift v] pressed>
<key [enter v] pressed>
this would allow better text based engines and a lot more stuff to be created… so… thoughts?

I think we should also add Control, Alt,and Backspace to that list also.

Uh, you should know that there is a reason that st hasn't added them. the enter key is a shortcut for green flag scripts, etc.

That is true, but the enter key still could have a use inside of the project without interfering with the shortcut. In the end it might be hard to do but I believe the add-on will be worth it.

But that doesn't explain why they didn't add shift… And I don't think anyone here using the enter key shortcut, so they could just get rid of that (unless someone tells me otherwise).

They should add pretty much any usable key (except the F keys, they are browser shortcuts).

And yet you can press enter to submit something in an ask block?

That would be nice! What about
<caps lock is on?>
boolean block

Maybe… but it can already be done in a roundabout away (of course so can the enter key)

Control + L-Click = R-Click.

I support “backspace” and “shift”, but not the others and especially “enter”. Enter refreshes the page on some browsers.

Consider me a semi-supporter.
