There should be a section on a scratcher's profile that shows their statistics
https://scratch-mit-edu.ezproxyberklee.flo.org/discuss/topic/2733/ is “The Scratch Team wants to feature new projects that have not gotten enough attention.” Front page curators? The same thing: to give unpopular projects a chance at being popular. So it isn't like anything related to fame is discouraged.Sure, maybe Scratch isn't 100% about getting famous, and I think F4F and AE studios aren't that great, but views, love its, favourites, and followers exist. The whole purpose of the Show and Tell subforum is to try and get more people to check out your project and hopefully increase those numbers. The very first line of
I support this suggestion - I would find it pretty interesting to see the totals, and if you could see how the numbers have changed over time (e.g. last month you had a total of 100 love its, now you have a total of 200) it might be encouraging to Scratchers to show how/if they've grown since they joined.

The point of Scratch is to code and have fun, not to get famous or be “better” or more popular than others. If you want to know your totals, you can do it yourself. No support, sorry.

But it was removed from the profile page to make it less visible. And for a good reason. 1.YOU can see Followers/following clicking ‘'See more’'
I meant on profiles. 2.Number of comments are hided? Nope! I still seeying number of comment!
And bragging wasn't also one of the deciding factors? The ST only had a single reason? 3.That because NOT brag, all the people considers the AEs (Add Everything) studios ‘'spam’'
4.The same thing, only with ACs studios (Add Curators)
But with the post count rounded, the number is less exact and therefore people tend to ignore it. 5.If you see, people still can brag about ‘'Hey i have 1000+ posts hahaha!’' to somone have 100+ but, you dont see, somone actually brag about his post count?

I did play basketball, and didn't ever brag, nor did anyone on my team.So are you saying there are more jerks in the world then there are decent people in the world?...didn't say that, I just said that there are more jerks in the world than you claim. And besides, you don't have to be a dedicated jerk to brag. Don't forget this is a kids site. Kids are (generally) more immature than adults (and there are some pretty immature adults out there, too). Even if the kid doesn't mean to be a jerk, a kid might still brag. Kids are kids, and they just want to show off their accomplishments to others, and they don't realize that it's not socially acceptable to go around bragging. When you were younger, didn't you love to show off your cool drawing or awesome arts-and-crafts project with your parents? Didn't you get a sense of pride from telling your friends and family about how you beat all your other classmates in a footrace or how your team got the most points in basketball?
Have you read all of the posts on this forum? At least 3 or 4 people have said that they have never seen bragging. You are the only who has reporting seeing bragging, and you're biased so it doesn't entirely count. How do you know this won't get worse? You claim that there won't be any more bragging when this is added, but provide no evidence to your claim. I do know people wont brag because there's already minimal (if any) bragging.
any ST member what they think is a major problem on scratch and I bet you none of them will say “bragging”If bragging wasn't a problem in the ST's eyes, then why did they hide the followers/following numbers, the number of comments, the number of projects above 100 in a studio, the number of curators in a studio, and even rounded the post count in the forums? Ask
Because people were too focused on these numbers individually - a bunch of 14-year-olds were causing drama and “quiting” scratch because they wanted people to pity them.
Once again, its not a problem you can fix without removing a very build-in part of scratch.

And if the people doing that enjoy having these kinds of followers, then it simply doesn't effect you in any way possible. If something makes someone happy, and it's not harming anyone, then leave the F4Fs alone.I can understand that example of F4F, but not if it´s just following someone to get a follow back without caring about the projects, and just about the follow count.Precisely.That is the main purpose for following. But like many things on Scratch, the ST doesn't have strict regulations about what reasons you can follow for.People who are anti-f4f believe that Scratch isn't about fame, and that follows should be for if you like a user's projects, so you can see when new ones come out or what other projects they like. F4Fs are fine. You can choose to not accept them, nobody's going to force you to do that, and they are aren't annoying. If you are campaigning against them, then you are once again saying that scratch is about fame because you don't want un-authentic followers. A follow for follow is a request for friendship in many cases.
And then there are anti-F4F, which, like AAEs, are worse then the original problem. All you're doing is making drama out of someone elses business. Does it really matter that other people are not receiving authentic followers because they support F4F? How does this affect you at all?
Just move on and stop causing drama on a website for 8-year-olds.
What if some random person is trying to gather followers or surround themselves with good people, and they decide that instead of just following that person, they request F4F. The other Scratcher goes to check out the F4F supporter, and they like their projects, and they decide to accept.
There's different kinds of people who do different kinds of F4F.

What if you are one of those Scratchers with a very large number of projects? The point of Scratch is to code and have fun, not to get famous or be “better” or more popular than others. If you want to know your totals, you can do it yourself. No support, sorry.

You guys won't stop saying “People will brag, so NO SUPPORT.” What you don't understand is that Sploder has had stats from almost the day the website came, and nobody has bragged there. Anyway, by your logic, we should remove views, comments, loves, faves, follows, and remixes because people can brag.
