Did you try the 'test player' and see dark colors?

Hello!

First off, thank you for all of the helpful feedback!

We've created a new test player which we hope will help determine why the dark colors are showing for some Scratchers. Please go to this new test page to help us:

http://scratch.mit.edu.ezproxyberklee.flo.org/testplayer2/#13024092

The page contains several tests you can run on a project and the tests change how the player works. Hopefully your feedback will help us improve the player and make it ready to release.

Thanks!

It seemed to me that a few of the tests were identical to each other. A and B produced the same results, C and D were also identical, E and F were the same, and G and H were copies of each other as well. Is that supposed to be that way?

There should be differences in sharpness of the images for some of the tests. Other tests are trying to identify the source of the “dark colors” issue.

This seems to run a lot faster than before.
I get no lag whatsoever, no discoloration or anything abnormal.

This players also seems to fix the bug of displaying a sprite move when
another sprite touches it when both sprites are being affected by iterations.

Game tested on

Here's what I put in the google form:
(using default color wheel proj)

Tests A, B, C,and D look fine, like this: http://puu.sh/4KfjS.jpg

Tests E, F, G, and H look very wrong indeed. 60-180 and 240-300 have random smatterings of black dots in them, and 0-60 is all black. The pattern of dots is the same in all four of the tests. http://puu.sh/4Kfr1.jpg

Tests A-D look good. Tests E-H look bad.

I did not see a difference between the A and B or B and C or C and D tests.
