scratch: x-box 360 / x-box one edition
On a computer keyboard, you have a bunch of labeled keys. One of them is labeled with a “G.” He's asking how you would press it on an X-Box.I have no idea what you are talking about How would one press the “g” key?

there is an on screen keyboard that shows up whenever you do something that needs a text input EG: placing a sign in minecraftOn a computer keyboard, you have a bunch of labeled keys. how many times do I have to say, it's not the controller, its the CONSOLE! Then the ST could just add XBOX controller support, since I believe you can already wire one into a USB port.

What if the user isn't typing, but needs to do something else? What if the G key is being used as a control in a video game?there is an on screen keyboard that shows up whenever you do something that needs a text input EG: placing a sign in minecraftOn a computer keyboard, you have a bunch of labeled keys. that would not be used, instead there are A B Y X the bumpers the triggers, the sticks, and the D-pad, they would definitely be enough buttons to make any gameWhat if the user isn't typing, but needs to do something else? But what if someone didn't care to use those? I don't have an x-box, so I likely wouldn't use those blocks. I would just focus on computer support. Then everyone using an x-box wouldn't be able to play my games.that would not be used, instead there are A B Y X the bumpers the triggers, the sticks, and the D-pad, they would definitely be enough buttons to make any gameWhat if the user isn't typing, but needs to do something else? The controls would have to be universally mapped to the keys, however. One project might use WASD but others might use arrow keys and some use both (for those who prefer one over the other) so what would happen? Not to mention there's the mouse and sometimes the number keys to change weapons/slots in the inventory.that would not be used, instead there are A B Y X the bumpers the triggers, the sticks, and the D-pad, they would definitely be enough buttons to make any gameWhat if the user isn't typing, but needs to do something else? I don't think you understand, PC projects would not be accessible on console and vice-versaThe controls would have to be universally mapped to the keys, however.
