Ads on Scratch
There should be ads on Scratch to Studios or Projects. You should be able to run them for a course of like 4 hours at a time. There should be 3 different types of ads like on ROBLOX. The ads should be 728x90 (horizontal banner), 160x600 (skyscraper), and 300x250 (square). This is just a suggestion. Hope you take this into consideration. Thank you for reading!

No support- ads are annoying. Adding ads will make Scratch less user-friendly.

Ads on Scratch
First of all, ads are annoying, and will always be. Also, this makes the site less kid-friendly.
Second, will you have to pay to set up advertising? Will Scratch need to add digital currency, and you have to pay a certain amount of currency to show your project in an advertisement? There are several different ways already to “advertise,” the first being the Show and Tell forum, and the other being in a studio, but those are just some ways to show your project to others.

Ads on Scratch
No support, there are already many ways to advertise, including putting your project in studios, making a good thumbnail, advertising in the signature (like mine) and Show and Tell.

Ads on Scratch
Ads are the worst thing that ever happened in the world.
I agree with everybody in the entire world. Bringing them to scratch would allow ads to violent games,
and make it less user-friendly. By the way, the sole reason is that they are annoying.

Sorry, I don't support your suggestion. Advertisements would turn Scratch into a popularity contest. Also, how would the Scratch Team decide whose ads to put up? Lastly, ads can become pretty annoying; I would probably get tired of seeing the same ad every time I go to a new page.

No Support, most ads are annoying. You can advertise your project in the Show and Tell forum, which isn't very disruptive.

Ads on Scratch
… are you serious? This is not Roblox, and it will never be. We're two different things. Also, Scratch will always be ad free, regardless of anything. No support +
EDIT: Spambots might be able to claim ads and link them to malicious sites. They also need a form of currency, which is rejected.Ads are the worst thing that ever happened in the world.

Especially a lot of ads. One particular site I know has so many ads, especially video ones that it doesn't just eat up your internet data, it can crash your computer (assuming you have low RAM). Ads make your computer slow.

No way.
As per above, and plus, Roblox is the perfect example… of the bad side of capitalism.

Yes. My phone has a 300 MB of ram. It's relatively slow. So if there's too many ads, my phone will reboot (too much RAM and CPU usage)…Especially a lot of ads. My PC has 4 GB of RAM.

Scratch is supposed to be non-profit…
If they introduced ads, it would either 1) advertise another product that's for-profit or 2) encourage people to buy their wa to fame (which Scratch discourages; that is, paying for extra stuff and trying to become a famous Scratcher).
Also, would you want companies storming into Scratch and putting up this ad:

How are you supposed to get 300MB RAM? AFAIK the closest to that is 256MB.Yes. My phone has a 300 MB of ram. It's relatively slow.
