I'm working on 3D rendering in Scratch, and I recently discovered that Blender, a modeling tool, can be used to export a text file with all the vertex information. To save up disk space, I don't want to install Blender because I already have Softimage XSI Mod Tool. With this modeler, is there a way to export all the vertices and connections with a text file?

I don't think you can Export 3D files to scratch. But maybe you could post this as a Suggestion in the Suggestion Forums.

Thanks. Also, it's not the 3D file I want exported, I was asking if there was a way to export a text file containing the locations and connections of vertices.

Oh yes, you're right. But I think you also can't Export them to scratch.

You can actually import text files into lists in Scratch.

Right click a shown list and import the file with the “import file” selection.

Nevermind. I finally figured out how to export a Wavefront file.
