The Removed Pac-Man Project

I've heard that once a PAC-MAN project got removed because of the creator Namco
I want More information on it because I like a good story and for some reason i can't really find that many information about it
can someone tell me the story?
QUESTIONS ABOUT IT!!!!
What was it about like was it an animation or a copy of a game? SOLVED
What did it have that Namco would have wanted to remove? SOLVED
Why only want that one project removed? UNSOLVED

I'll probably get more questions as i hear more

P.S. I KNOW about that scratch wiki articleI KNOW about that scratch wiki article

1) It was a replica of the game
2) Nomco Bandai said that it “infringes the copyright of PAC-MAN”
3) Don't ask why I called Namco here Nomco
4) Here's some more.

1. It was a replica of the famous arcade game.
2. NAMCO thought it infringed their Pac-Man games.
3. Probably it looked very like the original Pac-Man game.

That's the simplest way we can explain.
I already linked that

@OP Please be more constructive. What do you not understand?
this happened a long time ago, so that's also the only info we have.

Yes.

1. Similar to the game, or possible replica.
2. It was a copyright to NAMCO.
3. NAMCO is not allowed. NOMCO is.

2- AFAIK nothing on the site was taken down with the reason of a trademarked name. If it was, I wouldn't've said Namco in my earliest post in this topic
3- +1

@OP If you want, here's part of the DMCA:

I have a good faith belief that the “PAC-MAN Arcade” Scratch game by user 124Scratch found at: http://scratch.mit.edu.ezproxyberklee.flo.org/projects/124scratch/1174868 infringes Namco's rights by offering visitors the unauthorized use of infringing copies of the “PAC-MAN” game product which is protected by copyright and trademark law.

The link is just a redirect now since this happened in 1.x. Surprisingly enough, the user is still around today!
I'm too lazy to edit :P

So how did the company find the game?

Someone could've advertised the game, and then a picture appeared on Google images. Someone else went to click it, then they ended up in the Scratch project page. They reported it to NAMCO.

I think it's just because that the creator didn't give credit when using the NAMCO images. Of course, someone could do this today and not get caught, but I wouldn't recommend it because the creator of the images could find you and over-exaggerate.

A lot of people think that Scratch is more than it is, probably because it's hosted on mit.edu lol.

That is an interesting idea maybe some more research will work but it would be best if we can find someone who has been on long enough

Why not ask 124scratch? Anyway, that's the user that got the Pac-man project removed
