You guys are getting off topic. A random page would be pretty good because some good projects are just not recognised. Make it easy access so you can click it again and again until you get a good one.

Support, if you remove the view/love/favorite minimum. You can keep the maximum though.

It's an optional setting for the random page. Presumably there'd be a default that selects any project, regardless of stats. Being unable to have a minimum wouldn't break the idea.
I support this idea in general.

“Recently Shared Projects” is pretty much the same as a Random button - just a random grab bag of projects.

How about a project can only be shown if it's more than a week old? Most innapropriate projects are reported by then.

@Every one in this topic
Inappropriate projects ARE NOT a problem, in the end you just report them which HELPS the ST!! So there technically is no issue with this.

Actually I think the random thing should redirect you to any page on Scratch, including the Wiki, the studios a project is in, and other pages. (maybe even the random page itself, which would be very rare) There shouldn't be a limit to faves and loves, anyways, what are the chances of landing into a remix of Paper Minecraft?

Paper Minecraft isn't the most popular thing ever anymore. It's usually a variety, and what if the person actually changed something?? I do like the different page idea though!

have to use it. but that's just my opinionThe inappropriate projects shouldn't particularly matter, these pop up everywhere no matter what, also, if you think so strongly about it it doesn't mean you
maybe unmodified by ST would not be in there because of the chance?

I think it is quite a good idea! When I have no messages but I still want to look around on Scratch, that would be a great boredom buster!

Great idea. Wikipedia has one. And I think it's at least possible for the Scratch Team to implement it.

Support; I'd mash the Random button when bored, just like I already do on MediaWiki wikis. Really good idea!

(Please don't complain about necroposting. Necroposting is okay if the necropost adds well to the topic.)
Support for a link to a random project.
However, the links should be like this:
Many users are suggesting a button for Random projects. The buttons should have these links on them to lead you to a random project.
