12 vs. 24 Hours
Support as a person who prefers 24 hour time it wouldn't hurt to add it.
For people (especially younger users or users in countries where you don't use 24 hour time), it would be useful

Oh great another thing that only the US uses awesome *facepalm*

I don't support because I guess not everything should be about the US. Plus it keeps it simple

the majority of Scratch is in the US!
a lot of people don't know how to convert 24 hour to 12 hour time!
it doesn't affect anything negatively if it gets added!

In my opinion, if the total time is twice the amount of your total time, it's common sense to divide it by 2I didn't say I didn't know how to convert 24 hour time to 12 hour time. I said a lot of people don't. How can you tell time, if you can't subtract 12

12 vs. 24 Hours
Just because you're used to one of the time versions doesn't mean you don't understand the other one. At least in German, we just use a weird mix of both, although pretty much every digital clock here is set to 24h. Also, it only effects the forums, right? I doubt that there are too many 5-year-olds who can't subtract 12 here. It also sounds weird to me that some people don't understand 12h and 24h. But still - it's probably a nice option to have both since >75% or something like that of Scratch users are from the US. Maybe it could just be a setting in the account settings and a default value is created based on your location.

12 vs. 24 Hours
According to Statistics and this 2016 list of 12 hour countries, here is a list of Scratchers who have 12 hour time:
Given that ~50% of Scratchers are likely more familiar with 12 hour time, it makes sense for there to be an option to choose it.

12 vs. 24 Hours
Each time I look at a post, it takes about 5 seconds to subtract 12 and figure out the time. (Ok so the post was made at 13:22:54, subtract 12 and that's 1:22.) It might not be much, but it is so much easier to just be able to tell the time with a single glance. Just because you're used to one of the time versions doesn't mean you don't understand the other one. At least in German, we just use a weird mix of both, although pretty much every digital clock here is set to 24h. Also, it only effects the forums, right? However you don't particularly read the forum time, unless you are in the timezone it applys to (EST I think) as it is just a time. I only particularly look at the date as it is just a time which applies to other people in the world.
