also, I personally am not too fond of fanfics that bring in OCs. MAYBE villains but I avoid any fic that has (canon character)xOC ships like the plague.

Oh, yes. I definitely agree with that. I'm not fond of OCs in general, even though I used to make them.

Oh, yes. I definitely agree with that. I'm not fond of OCs in general, even though I used to make them.

But most stories on anime (yeah I watch that and read fanfiction don't sue me) have OC's if the character isn't compatible, and I don't really mind it.

It feeds my creative mind more, but I always watch out for Mary-Sues or overkill OCs XD

Yep. Mostly what turned me away from OCs is Mary Sues and Gary Stues (it's hard to explain in a nutshell what those are, so if you don't know I suggest you look it up).

Fanfiction that is well-written nowadays is usually labeled as “lemon” or “smut” on AO3 and FFN. Which is really dumb because there's already enough of that stuff posted to those “anonymous kink memes” on Livejournal and Dreamwidth. Seriously.

…..anyway. I'd compile a list of my favorite Fanfiction, but all of the fics listed would probably be not safe for little kids in terns of language and violence and other stuff like that. Yeah.

Oh, why did you bring up that topic? As a user on Quizilla, I've seen those lemon stories all over the site. It bothers me, because Quizilla has a specific rule against it. Why can't people just comply with the site rules?

People bend the rules because some rules are meant to be broken. As for that rule on Quizilla, if the site is for teenagers and up, then there shouldn't be a rule against smutfics. It's going to happen anyway, rules against it or not. People write what they want to write, you can't stop them.
And if you want to not read that stuff, ignore it, leave it out of a search with search filters (if that's possible), or click way if you accidentally click on one of those smutfics. It's simple, really.

I just have no interest in them. *shrugs*

Also, I've had too many negative encounters with them to really have a positive opinion on them in general.

One day I met Hermione Granger and we went to Equestria and she became a Pegasus and I became an Earth Pony called Earthwind Ravenclaw. We met Rainbow Dash but she was married to Brushbro Earthhoof, turns out that she was actually a vampire and bit Hermione (who was called Dareflame Fireflash as a pony) and she became a vampire. Then I ran to Pinkie Pie who cut me up and blended me into a smoothie, which she drank, with Rainbow Dash and Dareflame. BIG TWIST, Pinkie was a werepony and was actually Doctor Wooves.
