Multiple work stations/sheets in a sprite
I have worked on a lot of projects, and I have found putting a lot of code in a single sprite slows down and lags the editor, even when your not doing anything. This is why we need multiple workplaces for a sprite, which can be called sheets. It can help the organization for the sprite's code and can help solve lag issues with blocks being rendered on different screens. This can also be expanded by being able to name these sheets to have different aspects of the sprite coded in different areas of a sprite.
New mockup:

The best name I have to call them is sheets, but if you have a better name for them, then feel free to say it.
The images above are just an example of how it could look like in the current editor.

I am glad this has started to gain more traction recently.
New mockup:
from an inspect elemented browser extension and as a dropdown:I did a basic mockup
Opened:
Of course it would use Scratch dropdowns and not browser ones.
Sheet creation this one is from the new broadcast window:
hopefully not necropost

No support, you can just drag the scripts around and separate them into different groups that way.

yes but you still have them all loaded and if it is a big project it can causes a lot of lag which makes it much harder to do things in that sprite No support, you can just drag the scripts around and separate them into different groups that way.

Support. In big projects, large scripts can cause the editor to lag and that can be the main factor in preventing further development of the project.

It can also be annoying to have to scroll around looking for the right scripts, especially in other people's projects. If this allowed the tabs to be named it would solve that problem as well.

I think this is an awesome idea, support!
They should be called something more Scratch-familiar though, maybe Scripting Tab/Page/Area/Zone.

Oh, I think I mentioned this idea on another topic… Or something! Supps! And I think ‘sheet’ sounds best for Scratch.
Edit: Switching support to Turbo Extreme Limited Edition Support.
I do that for extra special ideas.

I support this idea. Many projects would have their messiness cut down on with this addition, along with it reducing editor lag.

Support. One problem with Scratch is having a lot of scripts in one sprite and the place becoming cluttered; this would be incredibly useful. One drawback might be someone “losing” their scripts in another tab, but the pros outweigh the cons I think.

I agree with this. I'm developing a project and I had to do it in the offline editor due to lag on the online editor. Support. In big projects, large scripts can cause the editor to lag and that can be the main factor in preventing further development of the project.
