New "say" block with no line to speech bubble.
Well, here I go.
In a lot of projects I wish there was a text output that would be like the “say” or “think” block, but it would have no speech bubble or thought bubble line - it would just be the same-looking box, hovering near it. This would allow for a lot of possibilities, including…
*Mouse-over descriptions!
*Easy text output on the screen!
*More customizability with the blocks!
Please support this!

I had a very similar idea, but also very different. Different formats would be nice, especially if you could change it to your liking (probably a bit too difficult to implement, though).
Anyhow, support!

Yeah. I don't really like the say block that much.
^ That one sounds the best, so there's no confusion over the two types of “say” blocks.

or maybe a print () at x: () y: () to allow for reporters to be inputted? Or a print text () at x () y () block.

I like your ideas! They are very cool.
I have been waiting for [say for () seconds without start] for a long time.
Cool though.

You can show the contents of a variable and have rather long texts there. The speech bubbles sometimes truncates the text when you run in full screen mode. Then I have a variable shown as a subtext line at the bottom with the full text that should have gone into the speech bubble.
Examples:

That's not the point. They want a say block, but without the speech bubble, so it's just text. You can show the contents of a variable and have rather long texts there. I think the “print text () at x: () y: ()” would be good.

here.I like that block! Maybe an option to resize the text box, or is that too complicated? Maybe, once you have placed the block it shows the text box up on the stage, where you can resize it. I made a “print text at x: () y: () font size ()” block

The text box just explains how to use ithere.I like that block! Maybe an option to resize the text box, or is that too complicated? Maybe, once you have placed the block it shows the text box up on the stage, where you can resize it. I made a “print text at x: () y: () font size ()” block

Also, I couldn't resize text afterwards because I used stamping. I could in a complicated script, but I just wanted it to simply stamp text at a location of a certain size.

Whoops! The text box just explains how to use ithere.I like that block! Maybe an option to resize the text box, or is that too complicated? Maybe, once you have placed the block it shows the text box up on the stage, where you can resize it. I made a “print text at x: () y: () font size ()” blockthe actual block is inside the project, and the font I use is Heveltica. I used stamping to stamp the letters down. Click on the link and check out the block inside the project. The blue box is just for explaining it and a better thumbnail.

All you have to do is make a sprite with the text on it!
