I'm not sure if it will fit the colour scheme of the site. The site has a paper texture and with these personalised wallpapers, some of the profiles won't match the rest of the site. I prefer to have a paper texture on the whole site so I can focus on the content. If this was added, would we need any extra customisation? If it's just a background, what about the content? Also, if an image smaller than the background was added, what will happen to the image? Semi-Support for now.

Great idea but would need proper formatting to work. Also, moderation will have to be strict

an idea to do this would be so that the image has to be approved before it is shown on a profile to the public.

But we're only viewing one page at a time. Also, the follow buttons and toolbar will remain blue, which will add a little consistency without looking ugly on the new background.

Nah, too much work. I'd go with semitransparent backgrounds on the content containers so they just adapt.

That would defeat the point, the reason I had this idea was so we could be more original and stand out. If everybody had the same or just had a few options then it wouldn't be custom or special.

If you see the example picture in the first post you will see that it is just the same image over and over again. Maybe scratch could do something like that.

I think it would be simply amazing to do wallpapers, or even music playing when they get to your page! ^^ But, I feel some scratchers might put in inappropriate wallpapers or even music! ^w^
