A pause button would be very nice because I still use BYOB and it has a pause button, why can't Scratch have a pause button.

No support, it will discourage using more complex programming, this is like asking for a “Multiplayer” set of blocks. It can be worked around with more complex programming.

There is a green flag and red octagon. Why not add an amber pause button which changes to a blue resume button when clicked? It will temporarily stop all scripts, and when resumed will pick up where you left off. Also, save and load buttons! When it is playing, there is a purple UP arrow. When clicked, you can load a save state from your computer. Likewise, once paused, the UP arrow turns DOWN, adding an option to save a state to your computer. Something of the like at least…

Support for the pause and resume button. It would be useful when i have to leave a project im playing/watching to do something for a moment. Eventho there is a workaround but it would be a little hard for new scratchers.

When the game is paused, there appears with the flag and octagon a purple arrow pointing downwards. This saves the paused game as a .zip file or something (a save state). When the game is playing, the arrow points upwards, and when clicked, will open your program files for you to load the file from last time. It could be useful for long, long games.

For New Scratchers it would be confusing. Keep the young generation in mind - we were all New Scratchers one time!

I change to for save and load button
Semi support for save and load button - I think you should have the option to enable/disable the save/load button you should have the option to use a custom block for saving and loading, use a scratch made save system or to disable saving and loading

I don't really see a use for this… may not be worth the ST's time.

No support for pause, this will discourage people from programming their own pause buttons. And no support for saving, as it is workaroundable with cloud data, and how would it work, exactly?

Semi-support for pause, you can code your own.

EDIT!!!! YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYYAAYYA!!!!! I change to no support at all this would defeat Scratch's purpose to code.
