Can I report a remix that doesn't have any changes?

So I made a project, and someone made a remix of it, but didn't make any changes to it. I looked into every sprite and nothing was changed. They didn't give me credit in the notes, besides the default that Scratch gives with the link to my project. I looked over the FAQs and the forums to try to find if I should report it or not. I don't want to waste the moderator's time, but I don't know if I should report it or not. I found from the forums and FAQs that even a small change is considered a remix, but it didn't say anything about no change at all. Does that mean it should be reported?

Thanks,

Yes - remixes without credit and no changes can be reported.

Okay, so what about if you make a remix of a project that uses none of the original scripts, sprites, sounds, or costumes? What if somebody makes a remix of a popular project, except they just make their own project that is completely different, and they do this to advertise? Is it okay then?

So I can't report it then? It doesn't seem right though. If it was a popular platformer game, a remix where there were more levels would make sense. But making a remix of a platform game, and your remix is a Windows XP Emulator, then I don't see how that is right. It defeats the purpose of making a remix then. I know the scratch moto is Imagine, Program, Share, but is it really sharing if it is completely different?

Interesting question. I believe it is fine to report it. Remember, you won't get in trouble if you have a reasonable reason for reporting a project. In this scenario, it really isn't a remix, it's just a way to get attention. My advice would be: you should report it if they don't give credit, leave it alone if they do.

Okay, thanks. No they don't give credit.
