+0.5, I think red and white stripes for reports and other bad things and green for likes/favs and finally grey/white for comments

That's not an alert, it's a message. Support, but having good alerts be Blue might through a couple of people off.

Support for different colours, not sure which but it should at least differentiate between alerts where you have broken rules and ones where you haven't

yesBlue messages are associated with curatorship and promotion. (Positive)
Red messages are associated with reporting and disrespectful words in a comment. (Negative)
However, Alerts (usually warnings) are highlighted blue. Blue has a positive connotation, so it sends a mixed message.
Simply put, Alerts should be color coded to match the message it connotes with. Alerts about a warning issued should be in a red box, while other alerts like becoming front-page curator should be in a blue box.
Red for warnings from the ST, grey for messages from the ST, blue for comments, green for studio invites/activity, orange for forums. And as a bonus, yellow for front pages, features, loves, faves, etc.

I like that idea! I agree about color coded alerts. It's so boring, just a plain blue alert. We should have color coded alerts. They should be sorted to what the alert is about. Here is my list idea:
Red: Being disrespectful
Orange: Say mean stuff about a project
Yellow: Not giving credits to the creator of a project you remixed
Green: Telling you phone number, email address, or tell your real name
Blue: Trick the community
Purple: Making a mean project
Pink: Spam
Aqua: gossip about someone
Turquoise: Something on your profile is innapropreate or your username or icon is innapropreate
Gray: An innapropreate studio
Black: (white words) Reporting a project and no problems
White: (with black border) Copying scripts from a different project without giving credits

agreed! Hmm, support but maybe make it a pink instead of a red. I'm not sure about the rest of you, but red irritates my eyes.

Support ! You can get mixed up since red is often associated with flame, red blood and anger (or simply someone's face boiling red when angry, XD.) And blue with calm riverstream, water and sky.
Now messages are marked woth greenish yellow (messages like, Studio activity, New post in (x) forum thread, comment or comment reply, studio invitation, love and favorite, remix). I never saw an alert besides from the scratch wiki image.
