okay so i think everybody’s seen this now so it’s time to discuss the setup and layout of the studio!
what are your thoughts on…
having a theme (if so, what?)
what the thumbnail should look like
what should be included in the description
the curator form
… ?

ok yeah so we were thinking about themes, last year we decided to have a theme for that year which was “autism and identity”, so I'm wondering what theme we could do this year if any?
Soki suggested a focus on accommodations which I think is a cool idea
there's also the rest of these themes that we voted on from last year (link to post) -
edit: oh also these https://scratch-mit-edu.ezproxyberklee.flo.org/discuss/post/7846910/

personally I like the sound of either autistic accommodations, celebrating differences/differences are beautiful, environments where we thrive, or autistic love/autistic joy okay so i think everybody’s seen this now so it’s time to discuss the setup and layout of the studio!
what are your thoughts on…
having a theme (if so, what?)
but I would also be open to any other new ideas (though I haven't thought of any myself yet)
what the thumbnail should look likeI'm happy with basically anything, if the colours red and gold are included and probably use of the gold infinity symbol.
I'm assuming the title of the studio would be “Autism Awareness / Acceptance Month 2025”?
what should be included in the descriptionnot sure yet honestly. we'll likely need an introduction/conclusion, an explanation of what autism is and what autism acceptance month is/why to take part, something about the theme if we have a theme, some rules, a curator form, and credits
and for featured studio requirements, we need these:
- Provides an interesting prompt that inspires Scratchers to be creative and make projects(link to post) and including/inviting translations is also helpful
- Is focused on a specific project type or topic
- Has at least one active manager, but not tons of managers
- Has fewer than 100 projects
- Has at least 2 projects that serve as good examples of what can go in the studio
- Invites anyone to ask for their project to be added by a curator.
the curator formnot sure again but I remember that last year we included a survey/question/thing as part of the curator form, although I'm not sure if we really did anything with people's responses from it (and not a lot of people joined because the studio didn't get featured or anything)
… ?
but that was kind of interesting

I think doing the theme accommodations could be good.
