If the text that is being typed out, isn't on the keyboard, could the user click a button that lets them type in any character/emoji/letter from a list they can choose from? Please make it easy to add more characters, anytime.
Also, if the text fills up the whole screen, please make the text scroll up. Make sure it isn't shown behind the margins. (the edges of the text box)

Please label certain things that may be confusing.
