Cross Country Running!
I have nothing to brag about. :'(you should try it! it is never too late Cross Country Running sounds interesting and challenging, I would try it once I have a chance. Walked 20km when I was younger (like 11 year'ol) on trail once, but nothing as big as Cross Country.

Cross Country Running!
OB MY GOD, CROSS COUNTRY IS EPIC! Once in a 6 minute warm up for P.E I was working with my friend who was also a fast runner, and we ran a mile IN 6 MINUTES!
Me- Mateo, join cross-country, just take my advice. (Yes, I tend to make friends with boys more than girls at my school, cause I love running games)
Mateo- Maybe, but jeez, A mile in SIX minutes?!
Me-yea! -feels something weird, and looks down at thumb- Oh god, I'm bleeding..laughs, I must over rubbed my tbumb the whole time!
Mateo-Well you were pretty focused.
Me-yep!
So yea, I love running!! I got twelth place in a big competiton!

Cross Country Running!
have you seen the movie "McFarland, USA" ? if you like cross country, I highly recommend it
I did a very few cc races, rather attend trail and road running events. have finished marathons (26.2 miles), have no clue how many half marathons, 10k, 5k, relays … but I guess, I'm much older than most of you guys
keep running, anyways!

Best mile: 5:53*
Longest distance: ~10 miles in 75 minutes with one or two short water breaks
*Probably would be 5:3x if not for an injury a few days before the end of season one mile time trial that stopped me from running it, some friends who were usually about my speed-ish got 5:30-5:45

Cross Country Running!
Hey all! I'm training for a 5k for the off season before Outdoor track! It's a st. Patrick's day 5k! I'm very excited, since it's the first time I've done a 5k that wasn't part of my school. I'm hoping to get top 5 in my age group, my PR is 22:48 (I'm a girl) I'm about to get ready for a hill interval run today
Also, anyone who runs and lives in a warm climate are so lucky! I have to watch for ice all the time and now I can't run on the trails, only the road
Let me know if there are other Cross country/running Scratchers!!
