Sooo I know that you are supposed to give credit to people who you take code, artwork, or sounds from. But let's say you take a song such as “Everybody Wants To Rule The World” from someone else's project. You would obviously give the band who made the song credit. But would you also give credit tot he person who you took the song from, even though they didn't originally make it?

No, you wouldn't, as they didn't make the song and took it from somebody else. You can if you like, but you don't have to. No. You only have to credit the creator of the audio.

Technically, you don't have to give them credits a song unless they made changes to it, such as adding their own voice, adding overlays of instruments or sounds that weren’t there before.
