Scratch suitable for younger children or adults?
OPs question was if Scratch is suitable for younger children or adults, I don't think they were asking for the name of the younger kids version of scratch A younger kids version of scratch is scratch jr
Scratch is designed especially for young people ages 8 to 16, but people of all ages are welcome to create and share with Scratch. I was just wondering that if this could be adults or something else ii have seen adults on the site

Scratch suitable for younger children or adults?
Yes, younger kids can use it. The site is very heavily moderated, so the chance of finding something bad is low.

scratch is usable by anyone, even babies (though the recommended age rating is 8-16, there are adults on this site and one of them is even probably over 60)
but for younger ones (under 8) it’s recommended to use Scratch Jr.
but no one is stopping them from using the main web yknow

Scratch suitable for younger children or adults?
Scratch is for people of all ages, (targeted for 8-16) races, genders, identifications, cultures, and no matter who they like. Scratch is heavily moderated so it's safe for kids. While Scratch does have people much older than the targeted age, it is easy to understand and suitable for children 8-16.

Scratch is intended for ages 8 to 18, but there is no limit on how old you have to be to use the site.
